We play this game for hours with many family members. Its become a great staple and makes us all giggle endlessly while running for our lives. I will say that at least my copy came with bent pieces, and the slides didnt work - it felt quickly and cheaply made - but at least the idea is there and with a little wood working, we made our own substitutes to fix the problem. Minus one star for that.

It was pretty fun a smash at parties. Once you get through the rules it should be pretty much straight forward.

Its a very well designed board game for adults with minimal inconsistencies. 10/10 would play again. Watch Wil Wheaton lose playing this game.

Super fun game. Its nearly impossible to play the same game twice as the house will be set up differently. Depending on what room you are in and what card you grab will determine which of the players (if it is one) betrays the rest.

The game was great!! We had tons of fun playing through the different scenarios. My only complaint about the game would be that some of the stat trackers dont hold tightly onto the character cards. This can be annoying at some times but an easy fix.

A really fun game! A new adventure every time! I strongly recommend watching a how to play video on youtube. There is a looot of reading though, which could be a drawback. I find that as time goes on we remember certain things and dont need to read as much, so dont let this stop you from buying.

This was way too complicated for our group. We were trying to play with 2 adults, and our teenagers - ages 19, 17, 14 Even after watching YouTube videos and reading the extensive instruction booklet we got bored an hour into it and decided to give up. We took it out one more time and still couldn’t quite figure it out so now it’s just an expensive game sitting on the shelf.

We played this one last night for the first time. It is really dynamic. The board changes, the quest changes, even the adversary changes. It takes a bit of time to get used to - the game says that it should take an hour to play, but for us it took much longer. I think that next play-through, it should go a bit faster. Overall, it is interesting enough that hardcore gamers would find it fun, but not too intimidating for your casual players either. The only potential problem that I have is that with only 50 haunts, the intrigue might be out of it as soon as we start getting repeated quests (the haunter then knows the agenda of the haunt-ees, etc.) This could be counteracted by additional haunt books, etc.

    Greater than one week

My family and I have spent hours playing this game. It is different every time. I havent gotten my friends into it yet but I know they will love it as much as I do!
