Avalon Hill Betrayal at House on the Hill, Green

Weve played this quite a few times already since we bought it and its been amazing fun each time. There are so many different elements and scenarios and works for parties where everyone just wants to sit back and chill. There are many many many tokens, cards, and other pieces but upon opening, everything still fits back into the box very nicely as long as you make the small effort to place everything in right after each sitting. Highly recommended

Fun, family friendly game to play with teens. I love that the game has several options so you don’t get bored quickly. It took a while to read through the directions but once we started playing it was simple.

Awesome game. I played it 4 times and lost every time, even though all of my friends didnt know what was happening. Good for the imagination though.

Great game if your group likes games for the story. Not at all balanced, so if youre a stickler for a balanced game experience, probably not for you. If you enjoy playing through every class-B horror movies story, then this is perfect.

How you feel about this game will change according to the people you have assembled to play it with you! Since we meet regularly to play board games, Betrayal At House On The Hill was OK for us. It takes a bit to get going, but it was genuinely entertaining. We range from 20s to dont ask! If your people really know how to have fun with every challenge and activity in life, they will have fun with this game. If you pay attention and want to get into it -- you will.

Buy this game! It is very confusing at first but please play it a couple times with patient game lovers and you will not regret it! Do not buy in stores because it is $50. Some of the rules I am still a little confused on but it is definitely worth it! Each time you play is a very different situation. It is not scary, the cards can be worded a little gruesome, but I think its funny.
