This game is fantastic for groups! My friends and I love this game as it changes a little every time you play it so it does not get old. You never know how the end will works out and there are fifty possibilities. Some of the haunts are not as great as others and we have chosen to skip a few though.... the instructions for each can be a bit confusing. Overall, it can be intimidating at first, especially with the multiple books that come with it. Once you start playing it makes much more sense though and it is usually a great time!

Instructions are very poor. We watched a you tube video and that helped a lot, but ended up giving the game away. It’s not really a mystery game. It’s more like a dungeons and dragons style with battles.

Fun game. It takes a while to learn right at first, but once you have run through it once it is easy to play again. Every game is different.

I think this game is really fun but it is a game that takes time to figure out. Basically trial by error until you get it right more so when the betrayer part comes into play.

I goofed and bought this. The first edition is no longer available. I wish they had just re-released it as it was. Its good and I like it, but I LOVE the first edition.

This is a great board game to play with your intellectual friends. For the people who have just started playing it will take a while to understand how to play the game. Probably after 2 to 3 games your friends and yourself will understand the rules and the concept of the game. The amazing part about this board game is that even with the minimal amount of players, the game is still equally fun to play with and there are so many scenarios. Good game I love it.

Dont explain the game, just start playing with someone who knows. So creative and detailed. Hard to understand without playing but easy to catch on. Very addictive and spooky.

Played this game only once a few years ago at board game café and found it interesting. This game is kind of special and different from the other board games. With 50 different stories to tell, Im expecting to have a lot of fun time with it together with friends.

The rulebook had bits of string in it and one of the pages was bent inwards and had not been cut properly, which is probably why it was bent inward in the first place to hide the fact. The character tokens are also a funny color and do not look like the character on the character cards. Clips do not stay on character cards easily. I bought this game because I have played it twice before, but I was disappointed by the quality of the rule books and token pieces. Still, its about $10 cheaper than buying it in the store.
