> 3 dayReally love this game! Was lucky to have a friend who already knew how to play but the instructions arent too hard to follow, its just alot of pieces that dont always come into play. Had a really good time playing it, love how many scenarios there are! Hard to get bored with this game.

Greater than one weekThe second printings arent quite as sturdy or great with tolerances but still a great game.

> 3 dayWell I read the review on here about the parts for this game. And let me say I too have this complaint. I never played the first edition but as I opened my box, the cardboard was warped. It makes it difficult to play with how warped it had become in the box. It seems to be a problem in some games I have purchased recently, and hopefully that trend dies down. You can fix this by carefully bending the cardboard and it will be more flat. The gameplay however is awesome. At first you are just exploring the house, and trying to obtain equipment to make you a more powerful player. Then when you fail the haunt roll... the real fun begins! There is a chance someone becomes a traitor, and with over 50 endings that can happen, it is a great game that I have yet to replay a haunt in the first 12 times I have played this. Oh sure we will eventually repeat a haunt but the game creates an ever changing ending that it is just a fun element of play. I actually use this game to introduce people into the Arkham Horror games (and Mansions of Madness) I find that they pick the rules up form this, and it is not a hard jump into the other games. If you are looking for a changing gameplay for a group of friends, Id pick this game up and enjoy it, just remember to be careful with the cardboard!

Greater than one weekMy High School age children and their friends really enjoy this game. They all get to participate and you hear all kinds of fun noises from them while they are playing! Im glad they found a board game to break out during rain and snowy days. This game also has an end, around 1+ hour, so the fun doesnt drag too long.

Greater than one weekThe game is fun. Only issue is the clips for tracking Stats. 7 out of all of them work. The rest just fall off.

> 3 dayThe game itself is extremely fun, but dealing with the pieces is a chore. Plenty have reviewed the game itself, so instead Ill note the construction issues. The little sliders for your characters stats are godawful and fall out constantly. My friends and I gave up and just started using a whiteboard to track everything until I find some kind of solution by bending the sliders or something. There are tons and tons of tiny tokens, but no real organizer for them and easily 90% of the tokens dont get used in a session. I, again, had to make my own organizer to handle these things so I didnt have to dig for five minutes to find a skeletons triangle or something. Other than minor annoyances though, the game is pretty great for a fast pick up and has fairly long shelf life due to the inherit semi-random nature of it.

Greater than one weekthis game contains numerous scenarios, as an avid gamer I have never played ever single one, and have only doubled up a handful of times, even then each time was different and great fun. This game is a bit tricky to pick up for new gamers, but once you get the hang of it, it is fun for years to come. The board is a build as you play, the scenario based on room, item and number of people playing. This makes for an entertaining game that can be played over and over again without loosing interest.

> 3 dayThis game has a ton of replayability, it never gets boring especially when you have 6 players. But the quality of the tokens and miniatures could be improved. the miniatures are okay but not great, they are flimsy and just looks cheap which kinda ruins it for me. Explorer cards feel like it could be ripped easily from sliding the markers over time so i rarely use them. instead download an app on the playstore called betrayal character stats. There are like hundreds of tokens in the box, i recommend finding a place to store and organize them because the box does not come with any organizers, just compartments for you to pile them all together and searching for that one token during the game would just waste a lot of time. Overall, these are just small issues compared to how much fun you get out of it. whether its 3 or 6 players, its still a lot of fun, with 50 different haunts, this is a great buy. But i do recommend getting an organizer, any container with individual compartments would do. You could get good looking ones on etsy for $40. and if youre really into the game, get yourself better quality minis on etsy, and the upgrade kit for the improved character cards with in-built wheels to keep track of stats, and new dice for like $14. Something i do have to point out is, the game does contain some negative stuff, like pentagrams, evil, and bloody rooms, references of hell and demons. If youre not open to these things, i suggest moving on. maybe betrayal scooby-doo version.
