> 3 dayI am very surprised at the size of this ferro rod. They really do give you quite a bit of bang for your buck. Feels very sturdy and is slightly hefty. Striker is also of high quality.

> 3 dayWhat can I say that hasnt already been said. This is a great addition to any kit, the rod throws off plenty of sparks and is easy to use. After watching me start a fire with it, my 8 year old wanted to try, a few minutes later he got the hang of it and was able to light tinder. I would highly recommend this for any get home bag, bush craft kit, or fire box around the house.

> 3 dayGreat product. Shipped on time. For the price, you get a whole lot of ferro rod. Probably the best one Ive seen yet. The only reason its not a 5 star is the tiny little striker. It works just fine, mind you... but could be bigger for easier holding and also to throw more sparks. I havent had any problems yet, but I I foresee this flimsy lil thing not lasting long. That said, if you dont have a good knife for a striker, you should get one anyway. All in all, great product!

> 3 dayIt’s just the right size- the lanyard is attached the the rod and not an added handle- I feel this is a better method.
