> 24 hourGot this for my wife as a present. She was overjoyed. If she hadnt been I would have given it just one star. She used it a handful of times over a period of a couple of years. She liked what she used it for which was mostly moping tile, that is, until it stopped working and it became my problem. Exactly what you can expect of most consumer electronics these days. A quick look indicated that it was not getting water. A slightly deeper look showed that it was not an immediately resolvable issue. Of course, out of warranty; time to break out the screwdriver. Not easy to open but once I got it open (not for the lighthearted) and ran some tests they all pointed to the water pump. Took it apart and tinkered with it. After reassembly it was working. It worked for a few minutes before the pump bound up again. It is now in the gathering-dust-in-the-corner phase of its lifecycle. My recommendation: if you know you are going to be using this frequently you might get your moneys worth. Otherwise, at least in my experience, it would be more cost effective to just buy a mop.

> 24 hourIve been wanting a steam cleaner for weeks now, and after I finally settled on this model (following loads of scouring the web), I was so excited when it arrived earlier this week! I mainly wanted it to make life easier when cleaning the shower/bathtub, so thats the first thing I tried it on. Set-up was a breeze; I found the unit very easy to fill, and it is also very easy to switch out the attachments (but maybe too easy, as I accidentally twisted one of them off during use in trying to get the right angle). As I began work on the shower, I did appreciate how easily it loosened up the grime but quickly saw the drawbacks to this product as well. #1, the pad gets too wet too quickly, especially when youre using the higher steam setting. #2, the unit shows its weight when youre cleaning vertical surfaces. #3, the attachments cant pivot, and in combination with the size of the unit, I wasnt able to get all the way to the bottom of my shower door before it hit the floor. I would have had to turn the unit upside down, which Im assuming isnt a great idea. #4, the level of steam was fairly inconsistent. All in all, I would say mission accomplished in that I didnt have to put in as much elbow grease to get my shower clean, but the process actually seemed to take longer because the brush attachments are so small. Where the unit did well was in the cracks and crevasses, for which I used the grout attachment. It was able to get rid of dirt that Id never be able to touch by hand. I have yet to tackle a floor surface, but thus far, Id say jurys still out on whether its worth the $130 investment. Final verdict: The first run this Bissell had here was also its last. The drawbacks I outlined initially were too much for me to look past, especially the steam being inconsistent. I returned the item for a refund.

> 24 hourThis power steam mop does a great job. My floors have never looked better.

> 24 hourI have installed new porcelain tile flooring throughout the house. A steam mop using distilled water was recommended by my installer because its perfect to keep the grout clean while sanitizing. He recommended staying away from cleaning products because there will eventually be a build up of residue. This steam mop works very well and is easy to use. I suppose any method of cleaning would be just as easy but the sanitizing and residue factor makes me favor this steam mop.

> 24 hourI replaced the smaller less expensive bissel mop with this one. They arent kidding about using distilled water. The small one one worked for quite awhile and did an OK job, so when it croaked I replaced it with this one. It works OK too, but not better than the cheaper version and you are buying attachments that you might not need. The worst part is how tired your hand gets from keeping the trigger depressed. The smaller one has an on and off button, is lighter and does just as good a job.

> 24 hourFirst, the trigger is a pain it needs a trigger lock. It does streak hardwood floors a little, but it could be I have to get use to using it. The grout cleaner sucks, but I was using it at the end of the extension. I will try it directly on the unit itself and let you know. It does clean the floors as the pad did get a little dirty. I tried it on a tough job, the garage floor which is epoxy. It did fair. So I will keep it but wished it was a little better.

> 24 hourThe new Powerfresh is a huge upgrade over the old Bissell Powerfresh. It is easier to load the water, warms up quicker and the cleaning area is larger. We love it!

> 24 hourI literally only used it twice and I have done everything to remedy the problem and it still does not work.

> 24 hourWorked wonders on my grout. Highly recommend. Good to note that it may still take some scrubbing. Dont expect it to melt away the dirt like magic, but it is definitely more effective than abrasive cleaners and safer for my home. Purchased for my grout, but have used it on my stovetop, mopping my floors, steaming a wrinkled jacket, and cleaning my stone countertops. Have not been disappointed. Cleans thoroughly and sanitizes which is a bonus in todays times. For a household tool 9/10. The only downfall I found was that it is not cordless. But the cord is very long, so distance hasnt been an issue. I only need to move plugs when I move rooms.

> 24 hourI liked this mop for awhile. It’s not too heavy. Cleans ok. Doesn’t put out a lot of steam so you end up using “heavy steam” the entire time. I have to refill the water 3-4 times to steam the whole house. Less than a year later of using it maybe twice a month and it leaks water out so bad that you have to refill it every few minutes. Will not buy again
