Greater than one weekI liked this mop for awhile. It’s not too heavy. Cleans ok. Doesn’t put out a lot of steam so you end up using “heavy steam” the entire time. I have to refill the water 3-4 times to steam the whole house. Less than a year later of using it maybe twice a month and it leaks water out so bad that you have to refill it every few minutes. Will not buy again

> 3 dayGot this for my wife as a present. She was overjoyed. If she hadnt been I would have given it just one star. She used it a handful of times over a period of a couple of years. She liked what she used it for which was mostly moping tile, that is, until it stopped working and it became my problem. Exactly what you can expect of most consumer electronics these days. A quick look indicated that it was not getting water. A slightly deeper look showed that it was not an immediately resolvable issue. Of course, out of warranty; time to break out the screwdriver. Not easy to open but once I got it open (not for the lighthearted) and ran some tests they all pointed to the water pump. Took it apart and tinkered with it. After reassembly it was working. It worked for a few minutes before the pump bound up again. It is now in the gathering-dust-in-the-corner phase of its lifecycle. My recommendation: if you know you are going to be using this frequently you might get your moneys worth. Otherwise, at least in my experience, it would be more cost effective to just buy a mop.

Greater than one weekBeen using it weekly, got the extra cleaning pads etc. The only down side so far is the power cords are really annoyingly long.

Greater than one weekPros: Easy to use, lots of options when it comes to the brushes you use when doing handheld cleaning, heats up quickly before use, measuring cup for water. Cons: 1) Makes constant knocking noise when holding trigger to release steam (instructions says this is normal and will go away but it made the noise the entire time I used it). I had to hold the trigger down the entire time in order for steam to continuously be released. Not sure if this was by design, but it became very uncomfortable not long into the cleaning process. 2) Brushes that attach to the handheld version of this steamer are very stiff. Ideally, id like the brushes to be a bit more loose in order to brush surfaces without feeling like I am scraping them. 3) Mop does not stand up on its own. Most mops of this nature are able to stand in place but this one is top heavy due to the steamer being located at the top of the mop. 4) Handle portion of the mop can become very hot directly underneath button you press to release steam.

Greater than one weekI like that it was EASY to put together, and EASY to use. The weight is in the handle, since that is where the water is and all the mechanics...the problem is that you cannot put pressure in the long metal hose. That being said, you are lightly cleaning or moping up on the floor. If you want to put pressure in scrubbing the, you may still need to mop. I gave it four stars for weight. It may be too heavy for the old. and long periods of cleaning. It is great for sanitizing, but I would say it is not better than pressure cleaning from the good old hands and arms if you still have it in you to give a good scrub.

> 3 dayAt this day and age you would think they’d be better at steam production. A trigger lock would have been great too. When you have the extension pole in place to use as mop steam takes a while to get through the mop pad to start cleaning. Also the attachment point of the pole to the main unit needs to be stronger.

> 3 dayI bought this steam mop after a friend told me how wonderful is a steam mop. I choose Bissell because it is a a well-known brand, and it is easy to get some replacement part. You can clean you entire house only with steam. It is very easy to use. Distilled water only. The cord is long enough that you dont need to change the plug to often. I clean my oven rack, and now it is sparkling. I didnt have to scrub too much. Highly recommend if you want to be ecologic.

> 3 daySeems to do a good job cleaning my floors. I dont know if it does it better or worse than the competition. I dont like the fact that theres no trigger lock so I have to hold the trigger all the time while cleaning tyhe floors. And it makes a light thumping noise all the time the trigger is being held.

> 3 dayOverall, this steam mop does a pretty good job at cleaning and the grout tool has been a god send, especially for all the gross pink mold and soap scum in my shower. It is super easy to assemble and to use but there are a few quirks.... 1. You have to constantly press the steam button while cleaning which can make it awkward because the handle is a little heavy and bulky. (I got some hand cramps while using this!) It also loses steam for a few seconds every minute or so and needs to constantly catch itself back up on the steam so doing stuff in one pass is not always possible. 2. I absolutely HATE the cord situation. There is nowhere to wrap the cord onto the mop handle itself when you are done. It comes with velcro so you can wrap the cord around itself but that is all. This leads to some major kinkage over time unless you are skilled with cord wrapping...which I am not. Overall, all of the accessories are super convenient for multiple jobs and it gets the job done. I do think there could be some improvements with the steam control and consistency, the weight of the actual steam attachment and making the cord more user friendly. I am happy with this steam mop for now but will likely try something different when this mop no longer works.

> 3 dayLove it!! But holding the button down to use it non stop is RIDICULOUS!!!!! I dont have arthritis (diagnosed) or carper tunnel (diagnosed) but I can not go more than 4 minutes without my hands, arms and wrists cramping to the point I have to stop because of how much pain I am in from holding down the button consistently just to mop my kitchen!!!!! COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! The fact they couldnt make it a one touch like pretty much every other machine was very disappointing and frustrating. Back to looking for a new machine and sending this one back. I really thought this machine was the one and it would have been minus the button issue....
