> 3 dayActually, it is not anything wrong with the Brother QL-700 High-speed, Professional Label Printer, but the wrong voltage machine was sent. My country, Malaysia is 220-240 vAC but a machine for 110 vAC was sent. I have also requested for British 3 pin plug but a 2 pin round plug was sent.

Greater than one weekEasy to set up printer with good label making software. Labels sometimes separate from backing and adhere to roller jamming printer. The auto cut feature and setup is easy and very good. Printing barcodes to fast will make most codes we use unreadable. Increasing the dpi allows a quality scannable label.

Greater than one weekBefore I bought the QL-700, I looked up the specs on Brothers website, which show that its both 120/220v. Unfortunately, I didnt look on the bottom of the printer before plugging it in to notice that its only 120v and not 120/220v. I found out the hard way by plugging the printer into the surge suppressor and it popped and started smoking. So now its one dead burnt printer... Being that its the responsibility of the consumer to check that the printer is the right voltage for their territory, regardless of Brothers website stating that its 120/220v, they wont fix or replace it and the warranty is now null and void. So its a total waste of money with no warranty or replacement service available. This puts a terrible taste in my mouth for Brother products and I certainly will stop purchasing them in the future.

> 3 daySeems like a decent product. I could not get the software to work with Win8.1. I am a pretty savvy tech guy and do not believe the issue to be with me, but who knows. I wasnt going to invest any more time than the hour I spent trying to connect what should be a plug and play device. Also, these label manufacturers all appear to be in collusion with postage label makers and postage software companies. Why can I not use a label and postage printer with ANY software product? Quite the racket. Buy my inexpensive printer and we will gouge you on the labels and postage service. Must be the same business model as the the printer ink manufacturers. In the end result, the USPS Click-n-ship for Business works just fine and is about cost neutral.

> 3 dayI recommend this product to anyone who ships regularly. Printing your own postage labels saves trips to the post office, your mailman will pick up your packages from your mailbox. Good quality printer, works well. I use it to print labels, with postage paid, for sales where payment is made through Paypal. Using Paypal Multi-order Shipping I can import names and addresses with the click of a button. Can also print one-off postage labels by typing in name/address. Paypal Multi-order Shipping uses Pitney-Bowes software which requires minimal setup. It is a bit clunky but works well. A good investment, saves lots of time, as we were printing postage labels on 8.5 x 11, trimming it down then taping to package. Save money by not buying Brother label rolls. Get your labels on Ebay, lots of sellers. Also just buy the label rolls, without the plastic carrier, its cheaper, then buy a re-useable plastic paper poll carrier (a few dollars) again on Ebay (deltadiscount7) . I recommend this product to anyone who ships regularly. Probably also good for general labeling, but have not tried it

> 3 dayI used it so far to make Christmas present labels and a few letters and packages and it works like a charm. The software is easy to use and very intuitive. There is a advanced mode for those looking to get as much control over the device and it is very comprehensive. Overall a great product for a business or a hobbyist looking to have some fun.

> 3 dayLove this label maker! Not too big that it cant fit on my desk at home. I use it mostly for an at-home business as well as some personal uses. The label rolls are so easy to put in ... they just drop into place. I keep several sizes lined up next to the printer for easy access. It is also great that you never need ink, just refill the tape. Everything prints clearly, unlike another label maker I was previously using. And the labels really stick, unlike the same former label maker I was using. This is everything I could ask for. Except maybe a wireless aspect, but I wasnt willing to go the extra money for that right now.

> 3 daylove it. great product. Ive created a custom label to add to a folder and that alone creates both name recognition for me and adds a level of professionalism to my product.

> 3 dayI ship pretty frequently via eBay labels and wanted a labeler. Couldnt even get it to print. Wouldnt recognize as a printer (only as a device) even after installing numerous drivers and things suggested online. Even on multiple PCs and on different OSs. Brother support wasnt of much help either (they told me about the same drivers I had already tried). Wasnt worth the hassle so I returned it.
