Greater than one weekThis printer works great! No ink required and quickly prints labels. Replacement rolls can be expensive but the quality is worth it. I would definitely buy again!

> 3 dayThis has made my life so much easier when printing FBA labels! Only reason I dont give 5 stars is because I use a Mac, so it was a nightmare to set up this printer and I cannot use the P-Touch software. I found a good enough work around, though, so overall, Im happy with it.

> 3 dayHeres the thing, once the printer is up and running, its great! For the money, I cant believe how well these have performed. It does exactly what we need it to for our business and thats why we now have 7 of them and, as we need more, will continue to order this same printer. Our first one was ordered over 3 years ago, is heavily used daily, and still works like the brand new ones. BUT! (and its a big but) The setup/installation for this printer (specifically on Windows 8, I cannot speak to other operating systems) was ANYTHING but intuitive. In fact, if I hadnt had someone walk me through it who had already done it, I know I would have had to resort to calling customer service. Which happens to be one of my least favorite activities in general. I will avoid it at all costs. So, let me outline what I have now learned so that maybe you too can be so lucky to avoid that dreaded call... Again, this is specifically for Windows 8: Go to http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=lpql700eus&src=download Click through the onscreen options to download the driver. Once the download appears in the lower left-hand corner, double click the file, named something like qd700w640av64us.exe. In the dialog box, click unzip. It should give you another dialog box claiming the 44 files were unzipped. ... then nothing happens... SO! Click on the Windows icon, bottom left of your screen, which brings up your awesome (sarcasm) Windows 8 home screen. Start typing brother to search your computer. It will default to search everywhere, change that to files You should now have a list of all of those files you previously unzipped. Scroll through and find the file named D_SETUP Double click and NOW you can follow the on screen instructions to finish the installation. Be cautious to follow the plugging in & powering on instructions exactly as they say. Then you should be golden! This printer is definitely 5 star, but one star lost for pretty poor setup process. Hopefully this helps!

> 3 dayPrinter works like a dream. Its saving us a ton of money on ink. The paper roll inserts were a little bit funky when trying to install refill paper but I was able to youtube a solution and its been smooth ever since. No blips.

> 3 dayActually, it is not anything wrong with the Brother QL-700 High-speed, Professional Label Printer, but the wrong voltage machine was sent. My country, Malaysia is 220-240 vAC but a machine for 110 vAC was sent. I have also requested for British 3 pin plug but a 2 pin round plug was sent.

> 3 dayThis printer works very well I never had problem with it. I used it to print shipping labels for a small business. The dowsides are that it only works with paypal but not with Stamps.com or Etsy. You cannot print international shipping labels with this printer. I recommend getting the dyno 4xl label printer

> 3 dayI bought this printer mainly to print shipping labels. The printer is very competitively priced and works well. It is extremely fast. I have only printed one label at a time so far, but when you click the print button, your label comes out instantly. I cannot even hear the printer running, just a slight wirrrr and the noise of the label falling on the floor. The software is barely adequate. It is a big install. Read the other reviews to find out what to install and what not. I installed the printer driver and the Brother P-Touch Address Book. I found it very difficult to edit labels using the P-Touch Address Book software. I am sure that with practice I would get better but who wants to spend his or her time learning how to design or modify shipping labels? There are a number of designs available, but strangely enough I could not find what I needed. While the address book has a field for the country of destination, none of the existing label designs include the country. I have not found out how to add the country to an existing label. I believe the printer would work from Microsoft Word with the right template, but I have not found how to do that. I am sure that if I spent enough time I would but again, the point of buying this printer was to save time and not have to fuss with it. So my rating for the printer itself would be a 5 star, but the software holds it down to 3 stars. Note that I also have a Brother laser printer and my overall comments are nearly the same, great hardware, lousy software.
