One of the best items that I have brought. Did I need this, not really. Do I really like it, YES. It works really well, simple to use and now everything is tagged throughout the office and garage. The labels stick great to plastic containers, and look consistent and very presentable. Well worth the money spent. I am running a windows 10 machine and no issues with the software. You must download the newest from the web site. I would go straight to the Brother download site and not bother with the included disk. One last thing. DO NOT GET THIS FROM The CJ go through Amazon prime only. This is important, just look at the reviews regarding that vendor, which are all true including mine. I had to make a claim against that vendor to get my money back.

Arrived well packaged and works great! Running Win7x64 on a laptop and everything installed easily. Its so excited to print labels that it tends to throw them at you after the cut, but all in all its a nice little unit.

Very easy to use. Spits out labels PRONTO. Drop in labels (all the standard labels: address, etc,) Software about 15 minute install but worth all the features: multiple fonts, sizes, artwork. Automaticly feeds labels, quick to change to another size roll. Very crisp images to give a professional look. Even looks cool on my desktop!

Ive been using the label printer for several weeks and am yet to find anything I dont like about it. Its compact, quiet and prints very quickly. I love the idea that you dont need to refill ink. The ink savings will pay for the machine in the long run. Labels slot in easy and worked perfectly first time. Extremely happy with the product so far.

Love the software and printer, automatically cuts, no ink, $9 for 400 labels, and it works with Windows 8 RP. I am really glad I went with this model perfect for my needs. The software is very easy to use and comes in a Windows 7 64bit and has a MS ribbon interface feel to it with Aero support, you can make an professional looking company shipping label with images in minutes.

I bought the QL-700 in order to make notes for myself. I wanted something affordable that could print text or images onto thermal paper. So far, it seems like itll do exactly what I want it to. The only problem is, the installation CD was completely useless for me. I couldnt get the P-touch Editor to run after running the installer and following the directions. However, you dont actually need any of the software on the CD in order to use the basic functions. All you need to do is attach the device to your computer with the USB cable and press the Editor Lite button. Your OS will have access to a read-only USB device that contains a simple editor for both Windows and Mac OS. This editor doesnt need any special drivers. Just type your text or load an image and press the print button. tl;dr: The printer is fine for basic text and image printing, but you may have difficulty getting the advanced software on the CD to work.

This is possibly the most unnecessarily complex, badly supported, bereft of help and 80s styled piece of **** printer you will ever buy. Please do not even consider this. The Quick Start Guide explains how to attach the cables - something a 5 year old could probably do - but ignores how to set up to actually print labels - Duh! Thats what I bought it for. It might be useful to include that Brother! The Windows 10 element does not seem to work and the only way I could get the software, and I use that term very loosely, was to launch it directly from the hardware. 0/5

I bought this little printer just for address labels but was thrilled at the many jobs it can do. I wish Id had it for the last few years. Its easy to set up and so easy to use. Loved it so much I also bought one for my daughter. She loves hers too.
