    The printer hardware is great. I use it on an iMac. The P-Touch software is weak and lacks adequate documentation. Might be better on a Windows computer but I doubt it.

    Sometimes a laser printer isnt good enough and who wants to waste a whole sheet of labels for one or two print jobs. That, and having to remember which side is up, or which labels you used last so youre using the right space on the label sheet. Set-up was a bit of a pain and you REALLY need to call-in to set this thing up as far as the software. There were a bunch of updates, directions werent clear, and just a pain until I called. That being said, once its set-up, its fantastic and very easy to use. Love having it for those quick one-off labels. My hand writing is atrocious, so love having at least the front of the envelope legible and neat. Two thumbs-up and one thumbs down for set-up.

    Ive wanted a labelmaker for quite some time for reasons unknown. Lately Ive had to do small runs of mailings and its so much easier to print address labels than trying to shove envelopes or label sheets into my old LaserPrinter. My only disappointment is that it doesnt have the cheap postage printing of the Dymo printers. Ah well, at least this gets me out of the house to walk to the post office.

    Read the reviews and knew that using this on a Mac was out. Check. Unwrapped and installed labels. Nice! Check. Tried to understand the most moronic software program ever written. HALT! Tried to understand after a successful install why the program lists a driver error. CRAP! Ive been fighting this idiotic software program for over an hour trying to understand WTF I am supposed to do. This printer should make my life easier but instead I cannot figure out P-touch or all the errors the program is generating. I want to take a hammer to this printer. (Isnt the printer - it is the HORRIBLE software P-touch)

    I like this label printer. It is reasonably priced for the contained features. It really has more options and programs than I really need. But, it is easy to use and produces some very good looking and different styles of labels. I did not think I would like the automatic cutting at the end of each label. But, I now prefer it and I am sure there is probably a banner option if I took the time to look for it. I give it 4 stars.

    Awesome time saver. I love that no ink is needed! I just wish the tape holder that came with it was reusable but buy an aftermarket holder and rolls of tape and save yourself some money and youre all set!

    CAUTION! If you are Mac user, think twice about buying this product. A great deal of what it can do only works on Windows. That any company can just ignore millions of Mac users is just ridiculous and perhaps is meaningful in terms of their continuing support.
