Brother QL-810W Ultra-Fast Label Printer with Wireless Networking

The wireless is good. Setup was a little weird but it worked out. The demo labels printing does not come out dark black. The software is kind of useless. I dont know why linking with your address book should be a cluster, or even having a separate address book within the app. Hmmmmm. Maybe its great for an eBay seller or some third party app that creates the label design and inserts the address. Maybe if I spend more time watching videos, but it gets to a point where the mount of work to create the label defeats the purpose of convenience .

I bought is product not even 8 months and it already broke on me. Very disappointed!

The wireless printing kept printing blank labels. I checked online and Brother tech support. They had extremely bad tech support. Nothing worked to fix this. I was so eager to use it, but what a waste of my time troubleshooting this. I’m very tech savvy, and I had problems with this.

If you are not computer experts or really familiar with brother products, DONT buy Brother, his brother technical support is garbage

While it has some appealing features compared to competitors, this thing is a joke. I first ordered a refurbished unit, along with a separate li-ion battery pack. Installing the li-on battery is a terrible user experience involving a lot of screws that look just like other screws that shouldnt be touched. The refurbished unit wouldnt ever go to sleep as configured, so the battery would barely last half a day. Returned. Then I ordered a brand new unit, and it was DoA, wouldnt print anything at all. Print heads seemed misaligned maybe. Returned. The enclosure is cheap and flimsy plastic. It has an external power brick as big as some peoples shoes. Its bigger and clunkier than it looks, especially with the battery. It prints great labels (though the Brother software is terrible), and I like the label stock, but after having to return 2 of these, Im not going to waste my time on a third.

All perfect, we use it in a Pharmacy.

This printer was a little tricky for me, a not so tech savvy person, to set up, but works great! When you change the paper roll you have to instruct the printer in which paper you are installing but other than that, it’s a great little printer.

I’m still trying to figure out where to put the ink before it runs out

I have wasted easily 10 ++ours in this love hate relationship when it works..its so convenient to tag my merchandise. I am specifically having issues making Barcodes. The bars are sometimes GREAT ..but about 50% of time randomly the bars are thick and too close together...making it impossible to SCAN! I spent 3 hours on phone with Brother team trying to resolve..they are all IN Dominican Republic? They did help some...but still this machine has barcode printing issues
