Beautiful stocking and fun to make.

I actually made my own stocking and took the little accents from this and sewed them onto my quilted stocking. It came out fabulous! Everyone loved it. It took me forever though!!!! But totally worth the effort. It was fun too.

Came missing parts and terrible instructions. Took a whole to come in as well. Worth the extra 20 bucks for a good one.

I really enjoyed assembling this stocking. First time attempting one, and there were a few steps that I didnt really grasp how to do as a beginner that I modified to my current ability. Overall an enjoyable experience to create this whimsical piece! I added an inside lining from some basic red cotton fabric, to keep the threads on the back from getting snagged on things, made the felt hanging loop sturdier, and looped the name cupcake through that loop (seriously, what shiny-loving child would resist carrying off the cupcake if it were simply dangling from a sequin?) to secure it.

A lot harder then the novis that I am is capable of doing, but what we did get done looks great!

This is a very charming kit. Some of the directions were not very clear in particular The directions for the hairpiece. The chart detailing stitch type and color were almost impossible to decipher. In spite of these drawbacks I ended up with a darling sock for my grand daughter .

Quality was not as the picture on line. I gave it away. I did NOT know I would have to sew cut etc this stocking.

So cute and I loved the last Bucilla project I did which was cup cake angle.

This one had TONS of embroidery and many many tiny things to cut out. It turned out really cute just like the picture though. Took about 3 weeks to finish with working on it for at least an hour every day.

I took the basic pattern and altered the dress to have the favorite colors of the child. This pattern is easily altered. Had fun experimenting with beads and sequins. Fun and easy to make.
