Bucilla Sugar Plum Fairy Christmas Stocking Felt Applique Kit, 85431 18-Inch

I love this stocking, was not easy to make, but I have made others. It does take some time to make so I started in October and am almost finished. The results are beautiful. I love it and cant wait to give it to my little 6 month old Grandaughter at Thanksgiving.

2nd kit I put together. Does take sometime to make , it took me approx 2 months to complete. Dont give up the more you make the faster you get. Recommend adding a lining to stocking to keep gifts from pulling the threads, also for me its easier to apply the applique pieces first than added beads and

My three year old daughter absolutely loved the details of this stocking. It reminded her of The Nutcracker ballet. There are a lot of details, which take time to put together, but its well worth it. Bucilla/Plaid include plenty of floss and beads. My only complaint is the gold thread does not fit in the needle provided, so I found another needle that worked. I have very limited experience with embroidery.

Haven’t started to put together. Instructions ( for me) are a little vague but I have people to help me and have been through the process. I think it will be adorable when finished. Have looked through and did find a labeling mistake but the pictures helped me figure it out!

Enjoyed putting this one together. Its a pretty design and my niece loves it. These kits are a lot of work, but they last a really long time, especially if you reinforce the hanging loop and be careful about the knots on the back.

I received this on December 14 and finished mid day Christmas Eve (working evenings and weekends). It works up well, and the pieces are easy to assemble. I plan to do several more for our family members.
