I make personalized stockings for a the new members of our family and this is for the latest Baby girl. This came together easily and quickly.

This one had TONS of embroidery and many many tiny things to cut out. It turned out really cute just like the picture though. Took about 3 weeks to finish with working on it for at least an hour every day.

Its tacky as ever but my daughter likes it. Mine turned out well. Hands are still cramped from all the sewing ;)

Prepare to work your fingers to the bone with this beautiful stocking. It has amazing details, tons of sequence, and oodles of embroidery to do, but the end effect is lovely. As my five year old said when she first saw it Oooh pretty... Sparkles!!! This was only my second needlepoint project, and it found it fairly simple, if a bit painstaking. If you are like me and new to this, make sure you cross out the directions as you go so you dont loose your place. Be sure you give yourself plenty of time to complete this stocking, I barely finished it in time after working on it for about a month. My only complaints about this stocking is that the green stocking itself felt a bit thin, and I kept running out of supplies. I didnt have near enough little red beads, green thread, pink thread, or tan thread, and often I found myself on the last inch of floss in that color. I may embroider strangely however I would have appreciated a little bit more floss and beads in the supplies.

Its easy to put together, although it did not have enough red beads. The finish product is beautiful!!!!yay for Bucilla

This is the second Bucilla stocking I’ve made and this one was a lot more intricate than the first. However, I am by no means a seamstress and am self taught and I still found this easy although very tedious. I’m a new mom and this took me about 2 months to complete just working on it passively in the evening here and there. As you can see I made some changes. There were more than enough sequins, beads and floss to complete the project. The most difficult part was the hairpiece as the instructions weren’t very helpful. The cording was also fairly frustrating to make because it kept coming untwisted (I was probably doing it wrong). I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos on the specific stitches the kit mentions because the instructions on how to make the stitches are useless and it’s easier to watch someone demonstrate the stitch. If you have little to no sewing experience this kit is doable but will take you some time, I’d recommend practicing some stitches on scratch pieces of felt before beginning. I wish the kit came with more of the small needle for beading - I lost the needle towards to end and even with the smallest sewing needle in my house, some of the beads still wouldn’t fit over the needle.
