Bucilla Sugar Plum Fairy Christmas Stocking Felt Applique Kit, 85431 18-Inch

Adorable, need to put it together before xmas.

Just opened the kit to try to make it for my granddaughters first Christmas, and the general instructions are not in English!!!! Dont know how Im supposed to do it now...

These kits are wonderful! Turned out beautiful and made a great gift to my new baby great granddaughter. A real treasure made to last for a lifetime.

I had previously used Bucilla products so didnt inspect the pieces closely. When i went to start the stocking I found that the felt was very poor quality. The most important piece, the actually stocking, is so thin you can see through it. So to make this stocking I have to replace the largest pieces of felt. When felt is so thin you can see daylight through it, it will tear. very disappointed

This turned out to be such a beautiful stocking. The pattern is just exquisite! And it is not as hard as it looks! I actually modified it to have the name across the top to match the others I was making instead of on the cupcake by turning over the white piece and leaving out a few candies.

Like the ad says, everything one needs to create this eye-catching stocking and heirloom in the making. My only difficulty was finding an accessible and compact way to store and use the sequins and beads . . . Solution: an empty egg carton, spray painted white. The compartments are deep enough to keep the sequins from spilling while threading onto a needle, and cartons cover helps prevent spillage. Now, to finish the other three companion stockings in time for the holiday in 10 months!

I ordered two of the same kits and there is a difference in the quality of the felt.

Bcilla is a well-known embroidery product. Never been disappointed.
