Bucilla Sugar Plum Fairy Christmas Stocking Felt Applique Kit, 85431 18-Inch

This turned out really cute, but it took me about a month to finish it, and I was working on it 6-8 hours a day.

I would have given this piece a 5 rating except that I 1) ran out of some threads, and 2) the green felt is very fragile and not strong enough to hold the appliques, so I had to line the stocking with cotton material. It made a pretty design, though.

Having a great time with this kit. Hope to have it done by Christmas. Great product and great delivery and price.....

I have done a few of these stockings and I really enjoy them. The instructions are written well and they are not super hard to do. Some things are a little more time consuming than others but overall I really love doing them for my family.

I was short on time and made a few modifications but it still looked great. Needs more room for name.

Bucilla kits are nice quality and easy to make.

Just finished this stocking for a one year old great-niece. Beautiful colors and good directions. Well worth the money and time.

I love making these. This will be my 4th one. Takes a long time to make, but my niece is going to love this. And I am going to love the fact that I was able to make this for her.

I bought this stocking kit when my daughter was a year old. It is quite time consuming, but VERY worth it in the end. Prior to getting this stocking kit I had never done any sewing other then a button. The kit comes with very well written instructions and diagrams. After I completed it, it looked exactly like the picture. My daughter LOVES it(now 3yrs) and I feel proud that I made such a wonderful keepsake for her. I recently finished another one(different kit) for my 5mos old son.
