> 24 hourUsed this to replace my Suburban SW6P ,Manual, 6 gallon, hot water heater Anode Rod. This Camco 11563 was a direct replacement on my SpringDale Mini 1750RD Camper, 3/4 Thread , 9 1/2 long with a 5/8 Diameter using a 1 1/16 Socket If it had the quick drain valve like the Camco 11533 + it was 9 1/2 long to ensure the whole tank is protected it would have been perfect

> 24 hourThis brand does not rust like other brands. Works well to save your RV water heater. Pay attention to Sizing 1/2 or 3/4

> 24 hourThis product worked great straight out of the package. I previously purchased an anode rod made by suburban for my suburban water heater and I could not get it to thread correctly this one from Camco worked great straight out of the box threaded perfectly.

> 24 hourI am new to RVing and did not know about the anode rod until searching through accessories. When I pulled this out of our purchased a used 4 year old RV, I was amazed at how bad of shape the old one was. I understand these should be replaced yearly. I will order another one.

> 24 hourIm giving it 4 stars because there is nothing wrong with the rod but it did not fit my Suburban 8 gallon tank. The threads were too long, 3/4 of an inch. Id previously bought a Camco rod that fit my tank, the threads were 1/2 inch long so must have been a different part number. So just make sure you have the right rod. See the picture of the old rod and the 11563 rod.

> 24 hourI used this sacrificial anode to stop a corrosion problem in a Cor-Ten steel water sculpture. It works! Before installing it, the water turned orange with oxide in three days, and I had to drain the pool. Now, the water has stayed clear for two months with no chemicals. I also painted the pond with RustBullet anticorrosion paint, but there are still substantial exposed steel parts. I can tell the anode is working because it is slowly developing pits.

> 24 hourGreat - fit my 6 gallon heater just fine. I removed it later to drain the tank and it is definitely doing it’s job.
