These are a real must! I will be ordering the version with the twist knob in the middle next time instead of taking the anode out every time to drain the tank. Very please for the price and fit perfectly, good product and obviously works right away on the first trip!

Ours was replaced six months prior to us picking up the fifth wheel we have now. Supposedly it was, upon pulling out the rod half was gone - If in doubt just replace!

Makes water heater lost longer than 3 years

Great fit for the RV Atwood heater. Only thing I did not like is the instructions state to only use a small amount of torque to tighten on, so I used my torque wrench and at the recommended level (with Teflon tape) I had a drip. I had to really snug it down to stop the drip. Other than that, works just fine.

Can be a little to remove if you havent done it before but, lessons learned and works great.

after replacing a water heater (RV) with an aluminum tank - I bought this to sacrifice instead of the aluminum. when I took out after a summer of RVing - it was about 60% dissolved! So a new one for next season! a lot less $$$ than a new water heater.

If you have a Atwood 6 gallon RV water heater this is a must it will save your tank.This one was in mine for two years.Looks like you probably need to change it every year

Don’t get fooled into buying the two packs on Amazon buy this one and it lasts just as long as the two packs I would estimate from my usage. The ones that come in a two packs are cheaper quality. This is the one to get. Just make sure it’s the right size for your trailer. They come in different links sometimes.

This is a good replacement for the used and pitted anode in my water heater.
