Its not as good as 100% cotton paper, but for $5 you cant go wrong. I cut mine in half, so its like I got 60 sheets.

This is such a thick, sturdy paper for watercolor. Great quality and love the way it is easy to tear from the rest of the package without ripping the paper itself. We have had great results with this paper.

Perfect for kids and adults. Heavy paper that is very absorbent so when the kids go heavy on the water in watercolors the paper holds up really well.

This book was even better than expected. Holds paper protected inside and can be removed when needed without any tears or rips. Takes paint and water well with no bumpiness when dried. As a beginner this exceeded my expectations and would order again. Found this locally for a lesser cost which I will investigate next time.

The paper is a brighter white than most watercolor paper, which is great for me as I like to stamp images on the paper, then paint them, then cut them out with a coordinating die. I then affix them to yardstick for my handmade cards. I use a white base cardstock for all my cards and this paper coordinates very nicely with the white! Absorption is good. Too big to travel with - I use a much smaller watercolor notebook of the same brand for when Im on the go.

Not everyones favorite watercolor paper, but Ill be darned if the price and ease of use doesnt keep me coming back to Canson. I love their mixed media sketchbooks and XL watercolor paper. It may not be the BEST, but it sure is dependable.

I love this watercolor paper! It’s my favorite brand! Sadly my order got lost in transit so I got refunded from amazon. I bought this paper at an art supply store and love the brand! I think it’s perfect for beginners! It also holds up well to gouache paint! I put a picture of watercolor, mixed media using gauche and thin acrylic paint, Indian ink, charcoal and micron pens using same brand, i like the bigger paper because I can trim it down. I also have tested oil pastels, black Indian ink and charcoal on this too and loved it!

This is a good paper for beginners except every watercolor book will tell you to only use good paper it really makes a difference in the learning process. But on the other hand it’s not bad for mix media work or if you kind of want to experiment a little bit with your colors before you use your good paper.

My Daughter said that the paper is what she was looking for, because it didnt bleed through. So, I will be buying her more when she asks for it. Thank you.
