The paper is great for beginner watercolor artists . It is good with absorbing water and didnt flake when I used wet on wet techniques.

The pages fell off almost right away; it literally broke down in my hand. But the paper is good or at least decent, maybe not as good for beginners

Great as always! This is my go-to paper for my watercolor art. It handles multiple washes pretty well and comes off the glue binding without ripping the page. It has a nice thickness and light texture. I recommend this paper to anyone - esspecially beginner to intermediate painters.

I bought this for around $9 during a promotion. The quality of the watercolor paper exceeds my expectation given this price. The front side is like normal cold press paper with some texture while the back side is smoother comparatively.

This is perfect for small watercolors. I use these as backgrounds and scenes to put on card bases. Very reasonably priced and as I cut them to fit A2 cards, I get 4 out of each sheet with little waste. I use the waste to check out color mixes. That means 120 cards per tablet of 30 sheets.

I love this, a lot. The hardcover is great, no more bending or damage to any of the pages. The paper itself works great! It can hold layered pencils, markers, watercolors good. I haven’t had any issues. Let your watercolors dry between sections and it should do fine.

Im a beginner at watercolor painting. So many people seem to recommend this paper for beginners and this product has amazing reviews so I ordered it. However, Ive had pretty severe buckling of my paper with each use, even though I tape my paper down. I dont do crazy washes or tons of layers so I dont think its me. Its pretty frustrating when your paper is buckling so much that the paint wont stay where you put it and it all pools and settles into the vallies. I did find that rewetting the back of the painting once its fully dried and then pressing it underneath a weighted board overnight will flatten it out again. The papers absorbency also isnt great. As a beginner I find this paper frustrating and discouraging to use, so much so that I caved and bought a pad of Arches today (dont buy it from Amazon, go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels and use their 40% or 50% coupon). Canson has been officially demoted to my practice paper.

My Daughter said that the paper is what she was looking for, because it didnt bleed through. So, I will be buying her more when she asks for it. Thank you.

Im a beginner painter so I wasnt looking for anything super fancy. This paper is thick and works great with my watercolors. The pages come out really easy so if you are looking for something bound better this wont do, however it works great for me since I like to rip out the pages anyway. Its also great bc the big pages are easy to cut for smaller paintings and work for larger ones as well.
