Ive gone through about 8 pads of this stuff and I like it a lot. Its not perfect or the best for sure, but it works for me and what I want it for. I like to cut it up into smaller pieces and make small watercolor paintings and card fronts. So far Ive used it with traditional cake watercolors and Real Brush Pens and it was great for both, except if you get it to wet it is near impossible to keep it from buckling. Also, if you go over an area too many times it will pill/tear... but that is probably mostly due to my somewhat novice technique.

Great paper. Paints smooth, doesnt warp much at all while you are painting, even if it gets very wet. If it does warp, its easy to get it to lay smooth again by letting him lay flat for a few days or pressing it between something. The size is good for a larger piece of art, but occasionally I get the sheets down so that I can get multiple pictures out of one page. In my opinion, canson makes the best paper due to its quality and price. I get great results and dont have to feel guilty about it if I mess up and waste a whole sheet

I am super beginner with watercolor so i really have no clue what i am doing lol an i have way over used water an had to blow dry the paper. Neither of which messed up the paper at all. This stuff is awesome but dont plan to keep all your works in the book. The pages come out pretty easily

For the price this is very, very good quality watercolor paper. I am a beginner and this fits my budget. Also the absorbancy of water seems just about right for allowing you to add color and have it spread as you would want it to.

Perfect for kids and adults. Heavy paper that is very absorbent so when the kids go heavy on the water in watercolors the paper holds up really well.

My kids love love love watercolor, and we go through the paper at our home. The price on this product fluctuates quite a bit so keep it in your cart for a bit and watch it - when it dips under $7 I stock up. This is a nice heavy weight, with light texturing to it. I like this large size because I can cut it in half or quarter it and the kids still have a nice size surface to work with. I am puzzled at the poor reviews. To be fair, we dont super soak/saturate the paper normally. But it does NOT dull colors and it does NOT pile on us. Perhaps thats because my children arent using any advanced techniques on the paper. I have worked with Strathmore paper before and did not find it noticeably different in how much it warps or how it absorbs color, but again - we are novice painters. :) I attached two pictures of some of the vivid colors we get from this bright white paper. Be kind, the work is from my three year old!

Always are the right size and correct amount of pages... I’m not a good painter but the paper definitely holds the paint! Lol
