> 3 dayIve found this paper to be quite durable, provided I dont overwork my paintings, which is truly the goal for me. Prior to retiring, I was a commercial airbrush medical illustrator, where it was all about the details, so learning watercolors has helped me to loosen up. And the price is wonderful. I do find the smoother side of the paper a tad easier to control, but sometimes I love the splashy look of the other side too.

> 3 dayI bought this paper to start doing calligraphy. It is good with soft ink markers but with the thicker ones you can see a little on the other side.

> 3 dayThis was a really good watercolor paper notebook. It was very absorbent of the watercolors. Will buy again!

Greater than one weekGreat watercolor paper. This is the first time we have used anything other than construction paper or printer paper. Water colors absorbs beautifully and it really does give a nicer look for your painting. Our young children love this as do I! This is a HUGE size paper and a great investment for the money!

Greater than one weekI am very pleased with the quality and the pricing of this lovely and very well-made watercolor paper. The soft, off white tint is very pleasing. The texture is a pleasure to work with. It handles water well and will flatten after drying under some weight without leaving warps or buckling. It erases nicely without loosing surface composition. I tested the outcome against several much more expensive papers I had on hand. I was surprised to find that this $5.97 packet of 30 9 x 12 pieces performed the best. Even for beginners, it makes such a difference in the outcome to work with the proper materials. This Canson XL series is now a stock up item for me.

Greater than one weekSeems like good quality paper. I just started watercolor painting so Im looking for economical materials. Thick as I was expecting for 140lb paper. I was worried about shipping but mine arrived undamaged in a bubble mailer. Note, the front is slightly textured and the back is smoother. Less textured than strathmore 400 series. Looking forward to using it. 4 stars only because I havent painted on it yet.

> 3 dayThis is a very good watercolor paper for adult beginners or children. I keep several pads available for my granddaughters as they love to come over and waterpaint. They love how the paint moves and changes on this paper, whereas it just sinks in on other paper. Good buy.

> 3 dayIts great paper for the price, but when I ordered, the picture had a banner across the bottom that specified 2-Pack and I only received one pad. The picture has since been changed.
