> 3 dayGreat paper for a few thin layers of water color. It will buckle some if too heavily saturated, to solve that I work in thin layers allowing it to dry completely before coming back to add other touches. The perforations are a bit deep if thats the correct way to explain it, the pages will come out easy, which works for me since I did not intend to store the art pieces in the notepad. In the rating features, for beginners I do give 5 stars because it is a good heavy weight paper that makes painting with watercolor easier and less frustrating than going with a cheaper off brand. I was introduced to watercolor on inferiors paper, which was not the way to go. I thought I hated watercolor, when in fact it was the bad paper that made it difficult. So when helping my kids explore art we always go for Canson or Strathmore. Not necessarily professional grade, but a fantastic intermediate quality paper.

> 3 dayThe paper is very thick and it great quality for the cheap price. I have only used a little of it because I’m water coloring small things, but when I run out I am definitely going to buy this again. -Grace M

13-04-2025Part of it was separated from the outside covering but that doesn’t bother me. I’m a beginner so this is perfect for all my beginner stuff. I use the pages big but I also can cut them to make smaller pages to paint on. Would buy again.

> 3 dayI love Canson 300 g watercolor paper! It is very forgiving and will take a lot of abuse, takes the paint very well and brings out the best in your art. I highly recommend it for all level artists.

> 3 dayI like it. It is certainly more than adequate. I use it mostly for my plein air watercolor sketches and all is good. Cant beat the price. Better than student grade paper. Clear white, I got cold press and it has a very fine grain on both sides. I would definitely purchase it again. doesnt bleed through, holds water nicely for doing wet into wet. Takes pencil nicely and erases well when very dry.

> 3 dayI thought I was getting a great deal. My FB group is about 50/50 divided on it. Youll either love it, it hate it. Not good for lose painting because it sucks up the water. Good for beginners though because you wont feel like youre wasting it when you need up. I would definitely recommend this for children, though. Its basically economy paper. Personally, I wont be getting more.

> 3 dayYes, yes, yes!! I am in love with Canson watercolor paper!!! It is fantastic I couldnt be happier with anything else. It NEVER blends through. I actually use this was all my wet media but I also use it for markers and a mix of other mixed media its just so great and I love the little bit of roughness it has. PERFECT!

> 3 dayI took a leap with this paper because the other brands are so unreasonably expensive but I was nervous because cheap watercolor paper tends to disintegrate and get soggy. I was definitely not disappointed. For a crazy cheap price for a lot of sheets of paper, this stuff held up really well even when I soaked it and painted over the same parts of the paper repeatedly. It also absorbed the pigments really well drying into vivid and beautiful colors.
