These are the best colored pencils I have ever had. Good colors, smooth and the points do not break as some other brands. Pricey but worth every penny. Go for it!

Artist quality pencils. I hesitated purchasing these at the high cost. They are in the best of color pencils!

These pencils ARE of a very high quality, theres no denying it. However, the wood smell is a bit overpowering (compared to Prismacolor which I just get a faint whiff of occasionally) and even though I am just using them for my adult coloring books, and am not a professional, to my analytical eyes and hands, I really like them but I like Prismacolor better (and Prismacolor has a better black + 2 neon colors). The wood smell is why Im taking 1 star off; otherwise, the fact that i like Prismacolor is just a personal preference and these are also top notch. Prismacolor also gives double the colors for a better price, and I realize its not all about the cheapest but I really think Prismacolor is better.

Was very bummed when I opened to find one of my blenders broke into 3 pieces. These pencils are very expensive- and are absolutely packed very very well, so I was very surprised to see that it was broken- other than that- I am satisfied

Gud price and if you’re realizing ur shaving so much of a certain pencil buy it at jackson art website they sell good caran pencils individually for good price hehhehehe The box is nice and foamy too and it’s ok to use em go all out don’t be afraid to use em just because the price

I have several brands of artist quality colored pencils. They each have their own unique features and abilities to lay down color. I first bought the 20 pencil set, then knew I HAD TO HAVE the full 76 set. Love them. They also are the most lightfast of colored pencils, if that matters to you. These Caran d’ Ache Luminance pencils are wonderful if you are interested in a more OPAQUE pencil. There are times in my artwork I prefer an opaque pencil, and times I prefer a more transparent pencil for layering colors. I do love these for their opaqueness and creamy lay down ability.
