These pencils ARE of a very high quality, theres no denying it. However, the wood smell is a bit overpowering (compared to Prismacolor which I just get a faint whiff of occasionally) and even though I am just using them for my adult coloring books, and am not a professional, to my analytical eyes and hands, I really like them but I like Prismacolor better (and Prismacolor has a better black + 2 neon colors). The wood smell is why Im taking 1 star off; otherwise, the fact that i like Prismacolor is just a personal preference and these are also top notch. Prismacolor also gives double the colors for a better price, and I realize its not all about the cheapest but I really think Prismacolor is better.

I have all the major brands of colored pencils and these are by far the best. They are creamy and lay down pigment without scratchy pencil lines.

First of all, every thing is perfect about these. The packaging is excellent, the trays the pencils sit in is well done. These have extremely strong wood so absolutely no breakage, they can take and hold a point for quite a long time, the pigments are phenomenal , outstanding, they have the best if not one of the best skin tone pencils around for all sorts of art, the pencils are highly saturated, the colour just oozes out like butter and glides on surfaces, they can layer and blend EXTREMELY well, also pairing this with Faber Castell Polychromos or some other oil based pencil works amazing with each other. These pencils can achieve end results with more saturation and depth and vibrancy than markers and even paints; these pack a punch and they dont run out quickly

I love these pencils! Wow, they are perfect! They are very expensive but, you cannot beat the quality!!!!!!

these pencils are the most forgiving, easy-to-shade-with pencils ever, especially paired with Gamsol (or mineral spirits). The colors on the pencil base are not accurate, but it gives you an idea of what the colors will look like when applied. SO GLAD I purchased the largest size set, and would definitely purchase more colors if they become available.

Perfect pencils!they were at ar with the faber castell polychromos with the benefits of lightfast quality!If only they had more variety of colors. I would definitely buy them. Theyre even great with portrait drawings. Its worth the price!
