> 24 hourPreviously I used a piece of aluminum screen on the top of the unit held in place with magnets to keep the leaves, twigs, and debris out of the inside of the A/C unit. While that solution worked, the edges kept fraying and it did not allow a snug fit across the top of the unit. This cover fits very well and allows just a bit more airflow but still has a tight enough knit to keep out leaves, twigs, and other unwanted material that typically makes its way inside the A/C unit. No more taking the top grate of the A/C unit off to clean the inside. Our ACH maintenance tech now recommends this for all residential installations and has saved them hours of work and the units function & efficiency improve as they are cleaner inside. I will leave this cover in place even when I put my winter A/C cover on as it fits perfectly over the top. It is easy to install and remove should the service tech need to get inside the unit.

> 24 hourProduct came as described. Put it over our AC unit in about 5 minutes. Fit was good. It already is preventing the fall leafs and seed pods from dropping in the unit. I am unsure about its durability given we get snow and ice in the northwest. It seems a bit flimsy to me but I will know for sure over the next couple of months.

> 24 hourThis cover was easy to install and is well worth the price. It prevents leaves and squirrels from being a concern.

> 24 hourJust installed this 36 x 36 mesh cover on my day-old Trane XR 16 (37 x 37) condenser unit and the 1-inch difference did not seem to matter as the fan opening is fully covered. My A/C Technician highly suggested I only use a mesh, top only cover as he said it keeps out the leaves and debris, and does not provide the haven for rodents that a full cover would. He also said the mesh would not damage the unit like a solid cover would if accidentally turned on in the Spring without removing. As you can see by the photo this was a Winter install and the frozen-to-the ground leaves are proof a cover is needed for us. Only downside, which did not factor into my ratings at all, was that two of the rubber caps on the bungee cord hooks popped off during the simple install and fell into the frozen leaf abyss below. Ill have to figure a way to replace them .. someday when my fingers thaw. And yes, those leaves will all be cleaned and gone before the Technician comes back to fire it up for the first time and complete all of the testing in the Spring (dont really worry too much about what you readers think, but my wife might be seeing this!)

> 24 hourIt is well constructed. Fits well. Easy to install. Mesh material appears to be made of plastic. Works well. Dont know if it is UV resistant. Very little detail/documentation included.

> 24 hourWell made product, installs in minutes. Keeps leaves and branches out of air conditioner while also letting it run efficiently. Should have had this years ago and I wouldnt have had to take top of air conditioner off to clean it!
