I learned about this product from my HVAC maintenance man. He suggested this, so your unit does not collect dirt leaves and whatever else can get in there. This was definitely the best 25 bucks I’ve ever spent.

This cover keeps most of the dirt from getting into my new air conditioner ! A must have for anyone dealing with pine needles dropping from trees!

No issues

Does exactly what its designed to do. It keeps the leaves and twigs out of the ac unit. Installs in about 30 seconds. Personally I will not keep it on when the ac is running because I dont want anything to interfere with the fan removing heat from the system.

Exactly as advertised

This was suggested to me by my AC maintenance man. Never had a problem with dirt debris etc but he thought this would be definitely a preventative purchase. I received it today and it is a very effective product. Well built, quality rust proof grommets and super simple to install. Takes 5 minutes or less. This will last a lifetime. Very happy I bought this and the seller was excellent

Cover does well at keeping leaves out of inner area of heat pump. Of special note; this is NOT a long term product. Buy at $20-25 each, I expect to replace these annually. Florida is hard on this type of material/product.

We live in FL, and we have Cuban tree frogs. They’re an invasive species, and they eat the native tree frogs. They also climb into the outdoor AC unit and accidentally commit suicide by either falling through or trying to jump through the fan blades at the top of the unit. This wakes the kids up because the unit is outside of their window, and Cuban tree frogs can get pretty big. So they get whacked by the blades and then repeatedly bounce off of them, and it’s loud. The kids know what the sound is, and it’s upsetting to them. So at the recommendation of our AC guy, we got this thing to keep them from climbing into the top of the unit. It covers all of the places where the critters can get in, and it attaches securely. I’m looking forward to not being woken up at 2:30am anymore by a crying child who’s in despair over the death of a tree frog.

I have a lot of trees around my A/C unit and this mesh cover does a perfect job keeping all the leaves and debris out during the fall and winter. The bungee cords also work great keeping the cover in place. Great product!
