Does exactly what its designed to do. It keeps the leaves and twigs out of the ac unit. Installs in about 30 seconds. Personally I will not keep it on when the ac is running because I dont want anything to interfere with the fan removing heat from the system.

We dont want to put a shell cover over our outdoor AC units. Doing so, can cause rust or corrosion. With this cover, the unit can breathe. It protects from the cold northern temperatures causing snow and icecicles to fall off the roof edge, damaging the inner workings.

I just wish that I had purchased this a couple of years ago. I can see how this will keep my units healthy inside from getting leaves and other debris inside that would damage it.

Everyone needs one of these. It keeps everything out of the ac unit!

The best investment for the life of my A/C

Cover does well at keeping leaves out of inner area of heat pump. Of special note; this is NOT a long term product. Buy at $20-25 each, I expect to replace these annually. Florida is hard on this type of material/product.

No issues

We live in Southern Nevada where the winds can reach 70mph, blowing leaves and sticks everywhere. We got our compressors cleaned last week and decided to cover them. The HVAC technician suggested this as an option. The covers are very well made but time will tell if they can last in the brutal NV Summer sunshine.

Purchase of this type product was recommended by our A/C Technician to keep Live Oak Tree leaves out of our outdoor A/C compressor Unit. Researched available online products and settled on this one that had good reviews. Product is as described online and arrived as promised. Product was easy to install with included bungee style cords with hooks. Appears to be made of good quality and good quality material.

Just yesterday installed the Modern Wave 36 x 36 A/C cover on my outside unit. My unit is a SEER 18 and basically measures ~35+ square on top. I was looking for something to keep pine needles, pine flowers, various leaves and oak flowers from getting down into the unit and blocking up the drain holes and just rotting there. It looks like the mesh on this cover will stop the pine needles but may allow a direct vertical hit through - maybe. Time will tell. All the other stuff will be stopped for sure. The cover almost covers the entire almost square grill over the round fan opening. Only about a half an inch of the grill is left exposed but the entire area over the fan itself is fully covered. Just before I installed the cover the unit was turned completely off and I carefully used a shop vac to remove as much stuff from the inside bottom while it was dry. After the install, air flow seems to not be affected much if at all but I have no way to test that with any air speed tester.
