Central Air Conditioner Cover for Outside Units 36 x 36 - Top Universal Outdoor AC Cover Defender (Mesh, 36 x 36)

Previously I used a piece of aluminum screen on the top of the unit held in place with magnets to keep the leaves, twigs, and debris out of the inside of the A/C unit. While that solution worked, the edges kept fraying and it did not allow a snug fit across the top of the unit. This cover fits very well and allows just a bit more airflow but still has a tight enough knit to keep out leaves, twigs, and other unwanted material that typically makes its way inside the A/C unit. No more taking the top grate of the A/C unit off to clean the inside. Our ACH maintenance tech now recommends this for all residential installations and has saved them hours of work and the units function & efficiency improve as they are cleaner inside. I will leave this cover in place even when I put my winter A/C cover on as it fits perfectly over the top. It is easy to install and remove should the service tech need to get inside the unit.

we bought this for our familys new ac unit since they are in a heavy tree area with leaves falling. Looks like it will keep them out. and best feature is the ability to use your ac or heat with this left on.

Well made product, installs in minutes. Keeps leaves and branches out of air conditioner while also letting it run efficiently. Should have had this years ago and I wouldnt have had to take top of air conditioner off to clean it!

Advertised as a non-restrictive mesh but see that it inflated like a parachute when the condenser fan kicked on. That means there is not completely free air flow. We will likely keep it because it does prevent leaves and debris from falling into the unit. However I suspect it hurts performance at least a little.

This works as expected worth the money keeps the unit free from debris
