Central Air Conditioner Cover for Outside Units 36 x 36 - Top Universal Outdoor AC Cover Defender (Mesh, 36 x 36)

Advertised as a non-restrictive mesh but see that it inflated like a parachute when the condenser fan kicked on. That means there is not completely free air flow. We will likely keep it because it does prevent leaves and debris from falling into the unit. However I suspect it hurts performance at least a little.

A/C cover has stayed in place through its first winter. It was easy to put on, even for me.

First time using the item. Easy to install.

This is great for keeping junk out of our air conditioner. It is a fine enough mesh to keep everything out, yet let the fan run like normal. It was easy to install and doesnt look like some monstrosity on the a/c unit. We would recommend it.

Exactly as advertised

I just wish that I had purchased this a couple of years ago. I can see how this will keep my units healthy inside from getting leaves and other debris inside that would damage it.

Product came as described. Put it over our AC unit in about 5 minutes. Fit was good. It already is preventing the fall leafs and seed pods from dropping in the unit. I am unsure about its durability given we get snow and ice in the northwest. It seems a bit flimsy to me but I will know for sure over the next couple of months.

I have a lot of trees around my A/C unit and this mesh cover does a perfect job keeping all the leaves and debris out during the fall and winter. The bungee cords also work great keeping the cover in place. Great product!

Are you supposed to cover heat pumps? Of course not. HOWEVER, you can choose something smart like a mesh cover with large enough openings to not impede air flow and provide a temporary cover to keep out leaves. This product apparently answers all those issues. It is easy to install, it does not impede air flow, and it is well constructed. Time will tell if it will manage the Texas oak leaf season, but it is doing quite well at this time.

This cover is perfect for protecting your AC during the winter. Moreover, if someone accidentally turns on AC it will not burn-up the motor from overheating. This cover has a breathable screen. Very important!
