Easy and keeps the leaves out!

Good product and last a long time. This is the second one I’ve bought. I love this screen cover. I recommend this item.

Just installed this 36 x 36 mesh cover on my day-old Trane XR 16 (37 x 37) condenser unit and the 1-inch difference did not seem to matter as the fan opening is fully covered. My A/C Technician highly suggested I only use a mesh, top only cover as he said it keeps out the leaves and debris, and does not provide the haven for rodents that a full cover would. He also said the mesh would not damage the unit like a solid cover would if accidentally turned on in the Spring without removing. As you can see by the photo this was a Winter install and the frozen-to-the ground leaves are proof a cover is needed for us. Only downside, which did not factor into my ratings at all, was that two of the rubber caps on the bungee cord hooks popped off during the simple install and fell into the frozen leaf abyss below. Ill have to figure a way to replace them .. someday when my fingers thaw. And yes, those leaves will all be cleaned and gone before the Technician comes back to fire it up for the first time and complete all of the testing in the Spring (dont really worry too much about what you readers think, but my wife might be seeing this!)

I live in Central florida under huge oak trees. The company that installed my unit were having to vacuum out tond of leaves. They recommended I go get a roll of screen and put Bungie cords around it.. which I did. This is the same idea but easier to install. Im very happy with it.

This cover was easy to install and is well worth the price. It prevents leaves and squirrels from being a concern.

Well made product, installs in minutes. Keeps leaves and branches out of air conditioner while also letting it run efficiently. Should have had this years ago and I wouldnt have had to take top of air conditioner off to clean it!

They didn’t’ send bungee cord but I got it later and so far working good

As an older person I try to shy away from things I might have to put together or install but not this time. Take it out of the packaging and lay it atop of the compressor and hook it up. So easy. I suggest it to all those folks that have lots of trees and blowing leaves that get into the compressor. If you get too many leaves or any debris in the compressor the AC folks charge you to clean it out, this is the only way to go. Im very happy with the cover.

I just replaced my AC unit and my neighbors tree sheds little tiny leaves and sticks all over my yard. Even though this is a mesh screen it DOES RESTRICT the airflow a lot. I can tell a very noticeable difference. A good friend of mine who has been in the HVAC business for 30+ years and is now a HVAC inspector for my county here in Florida advised me to never use anything that restricts airflow as it can cause the condenser unit to burn out. I only intend on using this in the late fall/winter when my unit is off and the neighbors tree is shedding leaves. Other than that, I just intend to just remove the fan (4 screws) and take a shop vac to suck the leaves and garbage out before using the cover.
