Arrived promptly and fits perfectly. Has really helped reduce the number of flats I get since putting them on.Now, if we could just rid the world of goat heads, life would be really good :).

    Greater than one week

At about 100 miles, tire on front had the side seem split apart. Was not over inflated, checked before ride. Very disappointed. Ive seen this concern from other low rankings Also, are hard to get on rimes and are not fast tires, seem to have more road resistance I bought in the winter and just put them on (March). Now to see if manufacturer stands by their product since Amazon return period is over

I got suckered into buying this product based on its glowing reviews. However, I have not discerned any protection beyond far-cheaper competition. When I first purchased this item, I bought 2 tires, with the intention of replacing both tires at the same time. However, I was lazy, so instead only replaced the flat tire, leaving the old, well-worn tire in place. ONE WEEK after replacing my old tire with a gatorskin, I hit a large pothole at high velocity, and my old, original front tire withstood the blow, while my rear, brand-new gatorskin was not up to the task and popped. Granted, the rear wheel carries a heavier load than the front wheel, but the gatorskn rear tire had THREE flats before I had to replace the front tire (at which point it was so old that when I folded it to put in a trash bag, it shattered). In the time since, I have been stupid enough to continue to pay extra for these mediocre tires, yet I have seen no benefit - my rate of flats has remained unchanged from the time when I paid more prudent prices. It is hard for me to see how any reviews of this products benefits are anything more than a scam. Addendum: I have lost track of how many flats I have had with these tires. After yet another flat today, I have come to the conclusion that there is a slight chance that they MIGHT help prevent punctures due to sharp objects such as thorns and nails, but theyre worthless for the prevention of flats due to potholes and large gravel on pavement. I checked tire pressure before todays ride, so I know that under-inflation was not an issue, but on my way home, I felt my rear tire hit a large stone and thought uh-oh. Sure enough, 4 or 5 minutes later, I had a flat. If you ride for recreation rather than as a means of transportation, OR if the roads you ride on are pothole-free and regularly swept free of gravel, OR if your primary adversary is thorns or nails, then MAYBE this product is worth its high price. But otherwise... I kick myself for having flushed money down the toilet on this mediocre (at best!) product.

I had put one of these tires on my touring bike before. The long life and rugged design convinced to purchase two more. Just beware that they are tough to get onto the rim. You need a good set of tire levers. I can usually just roll the last part of the tire onto the rim using the palms of my hands, but there way I could do it with these tires. Overall I love them and you will too.

Ive heard great things about these tires. But Im never going to know for sure because they cannot be put on the rims. Ive been doing my own tire changes for decades, whether at home or when I flat on a ride. If I were ever able to get these tires on a rim, Id be completely out of luck if I had to do a tube repair on a ride. Suggestions I got - heat the tire in (in the sun, in an oven, with a blow dryer) to make it more flexible, then try it. None of that even came CLOSE to working. These are a stock Vision 30 rim - nothing fancy. Ive got blood blisters all over my palms from trying to do what has always been easy for me. Im going to put the old tires on and order something different. Ill give these to someone who has a couple of days to kill, and palms of leather.

So far, so good. I have ridden approximately 500 mi on these and no issues. They have been durable with minimal wear.
