They ride hard as a brick and do not like the wet. Other than that. theyre fine.

Not the crazy best but for how well they hold up and amount of roll resistance they have Id say a good buy

These are great tires, they hold up well and ride well. I regularly wear them out before they get cut and I have never had one actually fail because of a serious cut. I have used these for 10+ years. The latest models (2020+) are actually narrower than before. The 25 c tires used to measure 25 mm across, now they measure 24 mm across (same rims etc).

Nothing worse than changing a flat on ride. I have a simple rule for when its time to replace tires. When I flat in two consecutive rides, regardless of age or wear, I replace the tire. I bought this Gatorskin front tire over 3 years ago and have put at least 3,000 miles on it. Ive never had one flat. The entire outer layer of rubber is completely split and cracked and can be peeled off with with your finger nail. I went ahead and replaced it out of an abundance of caution but theres no telling how much more I could have got out of it before the 2 flat rule dictated replacement. I think I have to come up with a new rule. These are really great tires.

Continental Gatorskin tires, the name says it all. It is a tough tire especially for commuting to work. After trying a lot of tires I now buy continental tires only for my 2 bikes nothing else.

Took these tires out for a twenty mile ride this morning- they felt and handled great. Plus, no stress of getting a puncture miles from home.

Gatorskins have a reputation for being some of the best flat resistant tires, so I ordered them for my new State Bicycle 4130 road bike. I usually would have gone with Michelin Endurance tires but they’re hard to find anymore so I went with the 700x28c Gatorskins (folding not wired bead). I can’t speak on longevity as I’ve only had them about a week but I can on the install. These went on with out tools needed, all by hand, which means no pinched tubes. Couldn’t be happier with that! The one thing I did notice is they are directional, shows the arrow on the sidewall so be aware of that. With that said, I’m happy I went with the 28c size instead of my usual 25c choice as the extra air helps with a much more comfortable ride, especially over rough tarmac. Hope this helps anyone on the fence or curious about switching brands of road tires.
