> 3 dayHad two flats in about 4 rides with this tire. First time I thought it was my poor installation skills (probably a fold in the tube or something). So I had my expertly trained husband do it the second time. Flat #2. Still not investigated why. Aggro.

> 3 dayThese are great tires for a road bike. Ive put 1,200 miles on my set and still havent had a flat. With other tires I would historically have had multiple flats by now.

> 3 dayIn 2020 I rode 4000 miles, 3900 of it on Gatorskins. All of those miles were on urban streets, no street cleaning during the pandemic, so yes Ive ridden over glass, nails, etc. Two flats, on largish nail got through the sidewall, the other was a small wire cut into the center of the tread. These tires last a long time. And read the instructions carefully - theres a small wear indicator divot just off the center of the tread. Its there for a purpose, when it goes away, its time to replace the tire.

> 3 dayNice looking tire though I only have around 300 miles on them at this time. Seems to be well made and I have read other reviews that this is a decent tire.

> 3 dayThese tires are great. They are cheaper here by about 50% of what they are at the store. Fit my road bike great and love them. I advise anyone to buy them.

08-06-2025I installed these before the Tempe Tri this weekend (09/15/19) and put about 100 mi on them before the race. The streets in Tempe are torn apart in places but the tires provided a smooth ride. I like them and they did not feel slow. Overall good purchase.

> 3 dayI have used these tires for about 7-8 years. Ive got new sets about 5 years ago but I dont ride as much as I used to. Just writing that they have served me well in durability and puncture resistance. They are similar to hard tires in auto racing in that they are more for durability than for grip and speed. The 2 dots: Lots of people thinking the 2 dots/snake bite/etc. on the tires are a defect. They are tire wear indicators. If you locate the 2 dots, look at the sidewall with a good flashlight and you will see a triangle arrow and TWI written next to it. It is only printed on one side. When both of the 2 dots are no longer visible, the tire needs to be replaced. Of course dont ignore other signs of a bad tire such as too many punctures and damage to the sidewall.

Greater than one weekI have used Gatorskins for the past couple of years. Maybe Im unlucky, but I have had more than a dozen flats with these tires this past year. Thorns and small pieces of glass went right through them after less than a month of moderate use. One sidewall was torn. Ive spent A LOT of money on tubes and replacement tires. I reached out to Continentals customer service online connection. I received an automated response. Im unimpressed with Continentals Gatorskins and uncaring attitude when I reached out to them.

> 3 dayI made the mistake of buying other brands the last year or so and came back to Gators for reliable riding.
