> 24 hourI got this 750GB drive during the Thanksgiving sale for $100, and at that price it is a steal, considering how it now popped back up to $215. It performs just as good as my Samsung 840 Pro 256GB and 850 Evo 500GB series SSDs, and I bought those for about $150 last year. Their prices are still holding up quite high:

> 24 hourBought this for two reasons. My six year old laptop still had its original HHD in it, and with an average life of four years I was on borrowed time before it failed. The other, I wanted a faster laptop but didnt to replace it as there was nothing wrong with it. The best and far cheaper solution was to upgrade to a SSD. Wow, what a difference it has made, the laptop is like brand new. Should be good enough for me for a few more years.

> 24 hourPut this in my PS4 and couldnt be happier. The drive is fast and I havent had any problems with it so far. Games load much much much faster and there is a huge difference in system performance verses the drive the PS4 came with. Why doesnt PlayStation just ship their consoles with drives like this already in place? Very happy with the performance, and wouldnt hesitate at purchasing the drive again. Glad I did.

> 24 hourWorks as advertised but slower than my 850 EVOs. I have 2 of these in RAID 0 and althoug the read speeds hit close to 1000mb/s the write speed is still staying around 500mb/s which was a little depressing. However, due to the amount of storage, I have decided to deal with the slower than expected RAID write speed and keep these.

> 24 hourMy late 2008 macbook pro was pretty much dead so instead of buying a new laptop I decided to try to bring it back to life one last time. I was in doubt between crucial and samsung. They both had great reviews so I decided to go with crucial because of the lower price for more space. This SSD worked perfectly! My macbook is acting like new now!! I used this SSD as my main disk, removed the cd slot, bought a HD caddy, and put the old HD there. I also upgraded the memory from 2g to 8g(apple says my model would only work up to 4g but its not true, 8g is working great!). Even my roommate commented that it seemed faster than his 2014 macbook pro (his macbook has 16g and runs with a samsung SSD and the original HD).

> 24 hourI rebuilt my computer last year and didnt upgrade to an ssd. My computer was what I would considered to be pretty fast but I didnt realize just how much my old HDD was slowing me down. Since upgrading to this MX300 750GB ssd my os boot time dropped from 1 minute 7 seconds to a blazing 15 seconds total and I should add that before even after the 1:07 with the hdd it was still loading background programs. With the ssd, in 15 seconds, EVERYTHING was loaded and ready to go. Also my video games also load in about half the time they used to. Some of the other reviews here said they didnt like the included software. Well I shouldnt have read that. I used another software that Id heard about and the one I chose didnt clone the boot portion of my old drive. Long story short...... I ended up reformatting the new ssd and cloning it again with the included software and I had it up and going in no time (minus the time it takes to transfer, which took a while considering I transferred 500GB). This is absolutely one of the best upgrades you can do to your PC, especially if you are an advanced user (gamer, video editor, ect) I will update this review down the road if I have any issues.

> 24 hourI bought two of these drives on Black Friday and Ive noticed the same new issue in both of my computers that I put these in. Occasionally (it seems to be random), the computer will just completely lock up for 10-15 seconds. It doesnt happen very often, but it happens enough to be noticeable. Probably three times a day at most. It seems that theres some sort of issue with the interface on these drives between the computer and the addressable space. I didnt think it was possible for drive IO interrupts to cause this sort of complete hanging of the operating system, so I switched this drive out with my old one for a week to see if the problem persisted. It didnt, so its definitely caused by this drive. Im guessing its a bug in the firmware that comes on the drive, but Im not sure it can be fixed with an update. Hopefully so. Ill update this if anything changes. Other than that, it works fine, its definitely an upgrade over a disk drive.

> 24 hourUsed to upgrade the harddrive of a 2010 MacBook Pro. This computer runs better now than it probably ever has in the 8 years we have had it. Super fast access time for opening programs and lightning fast bootup. From the time I push the power button until I can open a program is now about 25 seconds. Cant recommend this enough. Do yourself a favor and switch to a solid state drive to renew the performance of your computer.

> 24 hourBest upgrade for your computer by far. I have installed 3 SSDs in my laptops. The first one was a sandisk and its performance was okay. I have to say I will stick to Crucial after installing 2 of them. The Crucial SSD is much faster. I am very happy and will use them again.

> 24 hourThis is awesome. It shipped with Acronis 2015 HD that did the clone of my original spinning drive perfectly (with a few minor adjustments of course). Depending upon its function, I get 8 to 380 times more speed. It really shows in the performance. There are web sites to help one prepare for the upgrade from a spinning drive, they were worth my time, I did fifteen changes before it arrived.
