installed in a 2017 5K imac in the spots where the original ram was, and i moved the original ram to the other spots. No problems at all, didnt have to press too hard like some have stated. Mac booted up no problem the first time and recognized all the ram 8+8+4+4 for total of 24GB.

Just install it, and all work as describe!

I was a bit concerned prior to installing my 32 GB kit - the reviews I read here, made it seem like I would encounter issues with slot placement and seating the cards. Im a mom of two and Im moderately tech-savvy (Ive installed an SSD drive in my previous iMac without issue), but Im in no way an Apple Genius.

Easy to install, no issues. Make sure you fully insert the ram into the ram slots in order to be detected. You have to be firm, but not force the ram. If you have to force anything, you will break something.
