I just returned the OWC 128gb RAM and purchase this one. No kernel panic again. I am so Happy.

I added one of these 8GB RAM modules to my Apple iMac 27 5k and one to my friends identical iMac. An increase in response speed is noticeable in both. This 8GB module increased RAM from 8 to 16 GB. Install was easy and quick with no problems. I have one more slot available for another module if I want to add more in the future.

I am not satisfied! I have not noticed any difference after installing the memory, supposedly it should go much faster if you install 32 GB.

After reading several accounts of installations, I moved one existing 4GB card to the third slot from the second where it had been, and put the two new 16GB cards into slots one and two. Fired my new 2017 27” iMac up and - presto! She booted up immediately.

Timely delivery for update to the 2017 I5 27 inch Imac. Works great and is easy to install. Make sure you add it in pairs to ensure optimum performance.

It could not have gone more smoothly. Now my iMac has a full 40gb of memory.

I bought 2 kits for a total of 64GB. Installation was easy and my iMac immediately detected all 4 DIMMs. I havent had any problems. Saved a lot of money getting the RAM this way than getting it with the iMac from apple.

Worked for new iMac. Saved a lot going with standard 8gb RAM in iMac build, then added this. Obviously do it with Mac turned off and unplugged. Hold on sides and so not touch metal attachment points. Press firmly all the way in. There are YouTube videos.
