So I got the 5k imac when it first came and... i went cheap on the ram because I knew you could add more later. so now was the time, sierra went to mojave and my photoshop started crapping out on me. i knew i needed more ram especially working with larger files. the radeon pro 580 8 gb was ok, i knew i needed more ram. i got 8gb, 4+4. so i got these, 16gb+16gb. now I have 49 GB total. works great. it made a huge difference, im waiting for the price to drop and getting 2 more.

The Crucial memory was very easy to install on my Mac. It works like a champ!

I ordered a new 2018 iMac 3.5 Ghz Core i5 (Retina 5K, 27-inch) with a standard 8GB Ram and a 1TB SSD for a total price tag of $3,387.89 with tax (including Apple Care, USB-C VGA Multiport Adopter and MS Office Home 2016 for Mac). Had I chosen the configuration with a 32GB RAM, it would have added $600 more + tax. So I decided instead to order a compatible 32 GB Kit (16GB x 2) from Crucial which cost me only $338.30 (Tax included). Thats a savings of almost or about $300. Adding the 32GB RAM took only less than 3 minutes to complete. It was a no brainer. The best part is that my new iMac is now operating blazingly fast with a total of 40 GB RAM!

These modules worked perfectly in an iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch 2017. The startup black screen when the new memory initializes was much longer than I expected, but after a patient (but silently panicked) wait it fired up, reported the right memory amount, and runs great. The iMac is much snappier in opening widows and programs with the added memory, with the biggest gains where you would expect, i.e. Photos, and data-intensive apps.

Easy to install and after a month, my iMac is working perfectly and fast.

Im pleased to report that this Crucial 32gb ram was simple to install and works as it should on my 27 iMac.

The RAMM arrived the next day and it worked perfectly. I have bought from this company several times before and they are very reliable. I have an iMac and it was installed in less than 5 minutes. Great products!
