Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Memory for Mac CT2K32G4S266M

I installed this kit (16kb X 2) in iMac/18,3/ 27/i5/3.5kHZ; it took about 5 mins. I placed them in the two empty slots (2&4) and they were recognized immediately. A few days later I switched the new modules with the original ones just to see if there was a difference. I did not use any software to analyze the speed changes if there were any; I could not detect any difference. So, bottom line: new modules are in slots 1&3 (counting from the bottom) and original modules are in slots 2&4 and all is well.

Installed in my 2017 27 iMac combine with the stock 8GB from Apple for a total of 40GB. Moved the stock 4GB modules to the second and fourth slot and installed these in the first and third. It booted right up without any issues. Ive been running it for 2 weeks free from any problems. I would recommend this ram for those you who run a Mac because you value stability and reliability. There may be better CL ram out there, but I figured one single issue will eat up all of those saved nano-seconds and then some....

It meets all my expectations!!!

This has been the quickest install of anything Ive done in my life. Unplug everything, turn the machine upside down, open the memory door, check to see how the RAM modules fit in their slots, put them in, put the door back on, plug everything back in and turn the machine on. Literally less than 5 minutes, with most of that spent clearing the desk and finding a towel to place the machine on. Painless and quick.
