DampRid 10.5 oz Fragrance Free Absorber Easy Fill Refill Packs-4 Count – Attracts & Traps Moisture for Fresher, Cleaner Air, Blue/White

We live in the humid South and these works so well to help dehumidify our home. Love that they are easy to use and are unscented, too. This is my second re order of this product. My issue, and there is no where on Amazon’s site, where I can leave packaging feedback, is that the product was packed in an envelope and not in a sturdy box with packing material. The pic below was taken a few minutes after I opened everything the package. The cartons were totally destroyed because the envelope offered no protection of the product whatsoever. Thankfully, the DampRid packs were fine but the crystals could have leaked out because they were crushed. Just beware that this may occur if you order this product. I hate leaving this as part of the review, but this was unacceptable and I don’t want this to possibly happen to anyone else. I am surprised because Amazon is usually much better than this. Hope they see this and correct the issue. HTH!

I have been using damp rid in a kegerator setup now for a little over a year now and the product works great !! No condensation build up or mold etc. which can happen at lower temperatures. so why only 4 stars and not 5 ? I wish I realized that these easy fill packs are really intended for the larger whole room de humidifier version of the damprid system as they fit into the slots of the larger machine. After contacting DampRid directly they did reassure me that the packs will work in the 10oz refillable tubs and I could leave it in the ez fill bag or dumo the contents into the basket. Overall a great buy and a great product.

We had a dampness and rust problem with our wood stove during the Summer. The wood stove was cold from air conditioning, while the outside was hot and humid. This caused the hot, humid air to enter the wood stove, condense, and then trigger rust. I placed a refill in a shallow pan which I then put at the bottom of the wood stove. The refill absorbed all of the humidity and thwarted the rust problem.

Works beautifully with NO mess. I ordered this box of 4 refill packs to refill the DampRid FG91 Easy-Fill System. I set up 4 FG91 systems (individual canisters) in January 2016 in 2 bathrooms, 1 unheated closet, and 1 bedroom. I checked them in February but they were still dry, since Virginia has low humidity in winter. But now that the humid spring is here, the DampRid packets are removing moisture from the air just like theyre supposed to. When I checked today, all four canisters were full of water. So I emptied the canisters, then rinsed, dried, and refilled them. No fuss, no muss. Now that was easy! I am buying another refill box today to have on hand.

These do an excellent job of collecting moisture in a small room. The room where I use the easy-fill system is my laundry room, and also where I keep the cat litter box, so it had some issues both with moisture and with odors. This product has helped a lot with both problems. I usually empty the receptacle every 2 weeks or so, and a refill bag lasts from 1 to 2 months for all of the white crystals to be used up. All of the ones Ive received have worked well - I havent had the problems that some reviewers have had with the refill packets arriving with the crystals stuck together in a solid block and not absorbing moisture. The one issue Ive had with these is that theyre a little too big for my easy-fill system, which is the smaller version, not the large room version. The description on Amazon doesnt specify that these are the refills for the larger system - but theyre somewhat too large for the top compartment in the smaller version - when I stuff them in there its hard to close the lid. It still works fine though. These really are fragrance-free - no odor at all. Some of the questions about the product have asked whether the receptacle is really necessary. Yes! It is. These arent like the silica packs that come in clothes and shoes that just soak up moisture and hold it. These attract moisture in the air and then distill it into an oily, thick liquid that can stain and damage things if it gets on them - so there needs to be something into which the liquid can collect - otherwise youll end up with a wet mess.

Awesome product, I usually by single use containers and I’ve tried other brands because I wanted to save money but they didn’t last long and left a funny smell but I decided to go back to using damp rid and I decided to use refill packs, I am totally glad I did they last long and no funny bad smell and it is saving me money, I’m going to continue to use them I pack filled three containers I pored out the liquid in them filled the top strainer and put lid on and sat them in different ares of my house, I do have a big dam rid reusable container that takes huge solid round , that one I will just put the whole bag I won’t open it to por out,

I use the product for my closets. I live where the humidity is high. Its a cold humidity not from heat so it does not fight strong mold.

Mess free. Best thing ever. Dear Damprid - if you are reading this , please bring this back. The new tablet system is also very messy, the powder system is also very messy. These packs are the only ones that are mess free. PLEASE BRING THIS BACK

I have a camper that is parked in a recreational lot full time. I use 3 Damp Rid receptacles in it(front middle and back) and it keeps the camper smelling normal and I have no signs of mold, mildew or musty odors which is a difficult task if you own a camper. I use the little bag style and the large tablet version as well. The large tablet units seem to work the quickest especially if a small fan in the room is paired with it.
