> 3 dayLove that it has no scent so it doesn’t try to overpower the deodorizer sprays I use for smell. I use it in the basement bc we have a moisture issue that I can’t get fixed quite yet. Two packs last at least 2 months to help

21-04-2025I had a leak in my house and my closets began to smell the dampness. Damp rid removed not only the dampness but also the smell of dampness was gone.

> 3 dayI prefer these self-contained pouches over the loose granules simply for ease of use and.potential clean-up if spilled. We were continually having mildew issues in a closet thats` back wall is an exterior wall that is not well insulated, and even leaving the doors open helped. I finally bought this DampRid and I have been amazed at the amount of water that collects in the container. I knew that there was humidity in the room, having the only shower in the master bedroom, but WOW, until you can see it, it`s easy to ignore. These refill pouches are mess free. Period. Although I have the unit in the back of the closet shelf, we have 2 cats...need I say more? In the event that the container gets knocked over, the absorbant crystals will not make a mess. I would also say that we have no small children in the house.

> 3 dayMy windows kept getting condensation and eventually would mold. I was horrified when I began to notice this. Black mold is no joke. I began to place damp rid in the window sills in one of their decorative containers. Not into the look of it but I rather look at that than mold. It worked so well that I soon had to refill them. Just make sure that you regularly dump the excess moisture in order for it to work well.

> 3 dayThe box was damaged and taped with lots of tape. There should be 4 packs but one of the packs was missing. I am not happy to have to return the Damp Rid item but I have no choice since it is not the item described in the ad.

> 3 dayThis stuff is miracle pouches, I place two in the Easy-Fill system and miraculously water appears in the reservoir ,after two months and I can get almost 3 months out of mine given I only have a 900 sq foot home and I have the system in the larger room.I live in the deep south and the humidity is awful, it causes the ceiling paint to crack because even with central air is not enough to keep the moisture at bay,so in hopes of slowing down when I have to repaint again I decided for $10 for system and a refill it was worth a try.Refills are around $8 on Amazon and ^ at Wally world, but my Wally is usually out,

Greater than one weekWe live in the humid South and these works so well to help dehumidify our home. Love that they are easy to use and are unscented, too. This is my second re order of this product. My issue, and there is no where on Amazon’s site, where I can leave packaging feedback, is that the product was packed in an envelope and not in a sturdy box with packing material. The pic below was taken a few minutes after I opened everything the package. The cartons were totally destroyed because the envelope offered no protection of the product whatsoever. Thankfully, the DampRid packs were fine but the crystals could have leaked out because they were crushed. Just beware that this may occur if you order this product. I hate leaving this as part of the review, but this was unacceptable and I don’t want this to possibly happen to anyone else. I am surprised because Amazon is usually much better than this. Hope they see this and correct the issue. HTH!

Greater than one weekI tossed these in bags of clothes before I placed them in storage for a few months. They did the job of sucking in moisture put them leaked all over the clothes when the absorption was at capacity. It did not ruin anything, I just had to wash everything that they leaked on.
