> 24 hourI have used this product in several different forms for years. It is the best solution for areas that can not be addressed by a dehumidifier.

> 24 hourI had a leak in my house and my closets began to smell the dampness. Damp rid removed not only the dampness but also the smell of dampness was gone.

> 24 hourI bought these for my elderly neighbor who is nearly blind. She lives in one area of her house and closes off the rest with less heat and AC so humidity and mustiness is a problem. We tried a competitors brand at first, bu the entire plastic container has to be discarded which is not good for the environment. I found these on Amazon and we like them much better. They seem to work faster and my neighbor can refill them with the packets which prevents her from spilling the crystals.

> 24 hourI got these after we got water in the basement, I swear by them to help soak up the water hidden in the books and crannies. They are just the bags so you have to purchase something for them to go into as well.

> 24 hourProduct is good however, the poor packaging needs improvement. The DampRid box is thin with individually wrapped refills. Given the heaviness of the box putting it in a thin plastic envelope is not an appropriate way to mail it. It arrived damaged and fell apart when I opened the envelope. Mailing in a box would be more appropriate.
