I’ve used this product for years in to reduce moisture in our RV. This particular order from this seller was delivered in damaged packaging. When I opened the outer box, the Damp rid box was opened, torn and the Individual packages were loose in the Amazon box. Very disappointed with this seller, but the product works great.

This stuff is miracle pouches, I place two in the Easy-Fill system and miraculously water appears in the reservoir ,after two months and I can get almost 3 months out of mine given I only have a 900 sq foot home and I have the system in the larger room.I live in the deep south and the humidity is awful, it causes the ceiling paint to crack because even with central air is not enough to keep the moisture at bay,so in hopes of slowing down when I have to repaint again I decided for $10 for system and a refill it was worth a try.Refills are around $8 on Amazon and ^ at Wally world, but my Wally is usually out,

We have always used DAmpRid through out our house. We have the older style packet containers and its getting tougher to find the packets for them. We always buy the unscented flavor and the Amazon price is the same or better than Bed Bath & Beyond.

I have a large aquarium that evaporates a lot , and I keep these nearby and they seem to do a good job of absorbing all the ambient moisture, makes the environment a lot more fresh.

So we live in Florida and deal with humidity year round despite air conditioning. This works great in the bathroom and closets. My only complaint, and hence the 3 star rating, is its a mess to empty and change out the bag cartridge. The residue liquid at the bottom is highly corrosive and it gets all over my hands when emptying and changing. And heaven forbid you touch your eye with this stuff. I dont know what the solution to this issue is other than buying a totally disposable hanging bag which is probably more expensive and wasteful. However, if you can deal with this problem, and or it doesnt bother you then go with it.

My windows kept getting condensation and eventually would mold. I was horrified when I began to notice this. Black mold is no joke. I began to place damp rid in the window sills in one of their decorative containers. Not into the look of it but I rather look at that than mold. It worked so well that I soon had to refill them. Just make sure that you regularly dump the excess moisture in order for it to work well.

For whatever reason, there is an area in my closet which is prone to moisture. I have been using DampRid for several years now and have had excellent results. Previously, I had mold growing on a pair of hiking boots and a smell of mildew in my closet. Since using DampRid, I have had no problems whatsoever. This was the first time of have purchased the refill packs and am now able to reuse the containers I had which is more cost effective. A great product that definitely works.

We have a small room converted to an office, on the second story of our house. The room does not have the best circulation, and in the middle of the summer (hot and humid days) it got really damp feeling in there. Based on a recommendation from a Home Depot associate, decided to give DampRid a try -- and have been very happy ever since. We put the container in the room, and about every few weeks or so we dump out more than a cup full of water down the drain. These refills do the same job that the original pack did, and the room feel and smells much better now. Guess we will have to figure out why the issue occurs (maybe need to replace the 13 year old windows seals?), but until then these do the job.
