I have a large aquarium that evaporates a lot , and I keep these nearby and they seem to do a good job of absorbing all the ambient moisture, makes the environment a lot more fresh.

Damp rid actually worked! I had a musty closet that I needed to get the smell out. The product is loose granules. I did not have anything to put it in so I just used a bowl. I left it sitting in the closet for a week. I was pleasantly surprised that the smell is gone. I highly recommend this product.
