> 24 hourThese colors are made of real rocks. The Amethyst actually sparkles. Mayan Blue is like looking into the sky in Costa Rica (well, Ive never actually been there, but hey, I have Mayan Blue.) The Rhodocrosite is a nice, permanent pink, shading to burgundy. The Hematite is basically black, though the label is brown and I dont use it much, but it does granulate nicely. Piedmontite is a very grainy brown--like our local red mud. Jadeite is a very dark green, sort of like a bluer shade of Hookers Green. If you like granulating pigments on rough paper, you need to try these.

> 24 hourLoving these natural mineral paints. Some glittery, some smooth and some granulated, they mix well with other watercolour ranges and the colours are true to their natural mineral. This set has a good range of colours to start with. They have inspired me to look into making my own pigments from other crystals and elements of nature.
