This is a wonderful introductory set of watercolours from Daniel Smith that has two sets of primary colours making a total of six tubes. With the 6 primary colours, it can mix into a wide range of other colours. If youre a beginner, this is the set to get. Quality is fantastic so it will definitely tempt you to buy their larger tubes, or even more tubes.

Used in a beginning watercolor class, colors will not fade, primary set was perfect for beginners.

Great value. Would not recommend for beginners as these paints granulate and have different effects. But the colors are amazing and the paints are lovely. Would suggest to use from tube as some of the colors are difficult to rewet.

Fantastisch product. I made some swatches with a really really low amount of paint. What a fantastic range of colors to make. No muddiness at all. Too bad I forgot some of the color combinations. Definitily will buy a good book on color theory.

These are wonderful watercolor paints. So vibrant. You can see the difference between these quality pigments and the lower quality ones.

Daniel Smith watercolors work great and this 6 color set gives warm and cool primary tones for good color mixing and a range of possible tones including the secondaries.

This set of watercolors has a warm and cool tone for each primary. The tubes are super tiny, however. They are good if you want to sample the much touted Daniel Smith paints or if youre not sure if you like painting with watercolors.

I am in love with these watercolors. The granulation is so fun to play with, and you really get a good deal price-wise. Unique and quality.
