Clear colors that pop off the page with these watercolors. More intense that cheaper brands. We made a color chart using only these 6 primary colors which really showed me how to mix colors. I have a whole new understanding of watercolor.

I love Daniel smith and this is a really good value these paints cost anywhere from $8-$20CAD each they really know how to make a great little starter set. It has a warm and cool red and yellow a cool pink and a warm red which makes it a great place to start. I would also recommend getting a Cobalt blue an Indigo and an Alizarin Crimson to give you a more complete pallette. Having a Burnt Umber and Burnt Sienna as well as a Yellow Ochre will really make your life easier and give you a perfect little limited pallette combined with this set.

Ive heard so much about the Daniel Smith brand and have always thought they were just an overpriced brand, but I figured I would give it a try before I made my final say. AND... I couldnt be more wrong! The colors are just in a class of its own! I absolutely love how it flows! I will surely be ordering more when I save more money up, since watercoloring is just a hobby for me. But seriously, if youre new or have wondered what Daniel Smith is all about, please give it a try.

Daniel Smith ist eine sehr gute Marke, wenn man in hohe Qualität investieren will. Wunderschön intensiv und gut zu reaktivieren wenn sie getrockneten. Die Auswahl ist gut wenn man sich mit Farbenlehre und dem mischen von Aquarellfarben auseinandersetzen will. Die Packung sowie die kleinen Tuben sind leider etwas beschädigt angekommen.
