A few weeks in with a 100 pound bag and the carabiner is broken-the latch literally snapped while I was using the bag.

I think my punching bag is going to be hanging from that bracket, long after Im gone, which hopefully is not any time soon. Definitely love how sturdy it is, and I had no issues installing it. Its only been a few weeks so I cant speak of its durability.

Imagine ordering what appears to be a super nice, shiny, well made bracket to hang your new $300 heavy bag... and opening the box to find a piece of inventory that was apparently stored at the bottom of a lake before it shipped out. The carabiner is so seized up that it wont even open & close, it sticks in the open positions. All of the hardware is oxidized and rusted. Its clear that this is either inventory from 1974 or that somebody used this outdoors for a few years exposed to the elements of Alberta, Canada and then purchased a new one only to return this piece of garbage in the packaging.
