This item did what I needed it to do. I have hung a boxing bag drom it and there is no noise when boxing.

We engineered a truss due to our sheetrock situation, but this would have fastened right in to a piece of wood, very nice product, all you need to hang a bag (and a spring, of course).

11/16 or 17mm are the socket sizes you need. Make sure you have those, plus a ratchet driver, before installing. A second set of hands helps. I just installed this hanger this morning and it took about 30 minutes total. I purchased an impact driver because I knew Id be drilling into thick ceiling joists and the screws are absolutely massive. I drilled two small pilot holes after marking where I wanted the bag, and then used an impact driver to push them in. Due to the minimum socket width, I could only push the screws in about 3/4th of the way, so I used a 3/8 ratchet and a 17mm socket to finish it the rest of the way. The product comes with no manual or instructions at all. One thing to note is you need to disassemble it completely in order to mount the bracket first. Then, once mounted, youd assemble the hanger by threading the bolt through the black spacers and the hanging link itself. Overall, Im satisfied with this product and after seeing how solid it is, Im not concerned at all that Ill have any issues with it.

The product came very promptly, I installed it on the 2x6 with the supplied bolts that seemed strong and of good quality.

Im using it with a hundred Pound bag - no problem. I sank the two lag bolt wood screws, drilling pilot holes first in the 2x8, though the wood was so hard I ended sinking them with a socket wrench - but its solid - I forgot to add one washer and my first bolt didnt sink perfectly, but theres no give or sway when I hit that bag
