> 24 hourThe sound quality is incredible with a perfect balance of highs, lows and base. The speakers work fantastic when listening to LP’s. The sound from the speakers fill a large open townhouse with warmth and clarity.

> 24 hourThis is definitely the best speaker for the money. I got them on sale and hooked up to my Yamaha stereo speakers. Amount of bass I am getting from this size speakers are very satisfying. Overall it has a natural sound with good Soundstage and detail. You can listen to them for a long time without getting fatigued.

> 24 hourI put these in my bedroom as front speakers in a surround sound setup. They are accurate, not too large, and my system sounds much better than the older speakers these replaced.

Bass Boosted
> 24 hourThese speakers sound awesome! Great for a music setup in a small room, with its compact body and big sound. Not too expensive, but doesnt sacrifice quality. Considering getting another pair for surround sound. And remember, cables not included.

> 24 hourFor audiophiles, this is a “budget” entry. For average folks, they’ll seem pricey. All i can say is they are worth it. After buying a HTIB system that i was trying to keep on a budget, i found the speakers that came with it (Yamaha YHT-4930UBL system) were kind of thin, especially the center. Tried replacing the center with a Pioneer SP-C22, but while much improved it still was too bright on the high end (crunchy sound). Read a lot about these speakers and the matching center speaker from the same series. While I didn’t want to spend this kind of money on speakers for a budget build in an off gaming/media room, i quickly found they were worth every penny. Avengers: Infinity War in 4K sounded amazing. The matching center to this series (separate purchase) had terrific clarity without being too much treble, very warm sound. These bookcase speakers used as fronts and surround had amazing depth and clarity. The balance in the sound was unbelievable. No overwhelming base or treble. Just awesome surround and sound presence. If you’re like me, not an audiophile, but wanting to build on a budget, it may feel like these are outside the pricing of “budget build”. It’s worth the investment though if you want a good pair of speakers that can help you make a “set it and forget it” build that won’t have you constantly fiddling with the sound settings when switching between different content.

> 24 hourVery important to get the theater at ear level. I have the set on ether side of my receiver and sit about 10 feet away. In my old age enjoy jazz and classical music mainly and the speakers do a great job. They have the true sound of the recording which maybe a fault for some people.

> 24 hourI have a tiny Fosi amplifier T20 which rated as 100w class D connected to the speaker. Mid and Hi end seems okay but not great, the bass is not enough. I assumed music always need good bass to sound great. I was buying a Emotiva amplifier in the mean time , some how I decided to return it before the amplifier arrived, because I believe it still needs a sub- woofer to boost the low end.

> 24 hourExtremely happy with these speakers. Spent a lot of time researching and almost pulled the trigger on KEF/Klipsch because I had the budget and thought the aesthetics were better. The ELACs look a lot better in the flesh than in marketing/catalogue images and I like the old school look. Living in an apartment the front porting is important and I have these flush against the wall. Paired them with a new Yamaha WXA-50 and this combination is working very nicely for me. Had planned on a small subwoofer but am so far enjoying these organically. If I had a sub I would cross it pretty low and let the ELACs do most of the heavy lifting. Glad I went for the 5.2 and not the 6.2 as the sound rocks without the need for more space. Spent a few dollars on custom Oakwood stands. Sound is awesome, bass is solid and I would happily recommend these little beauties. Put the money you saved to better use.
