> 3 dayI got these to replace some old old JBL 2800s What a difference, very pleased with the sound in these. BTW got a used pair with Amazon average condition, they are like brand new not a single blemish I could find. Great job Amazon!

> 3 dayNice looking bookshelf speakers. Sound is exceptional. Would highly recommend for a computer/desktop setup. Highs and mids are fantastic. Not much on lows (which is understandable given the size), need a sub to finish off the presentation. Worth the money. Big fan!

24-11-2024Ive had the Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 for a couple of weeks now. My ears are attached to a 60 plus body and theres unclearly :) been some audio spectrum attenuation. Ive had a Yamaha YAS-107 soundbar connected to my TV for a couple of years so to a certain extent, this is a comparison to the soundbar. The Elacs sound very good in overall comparison, but the soundbar is better with higher frequencies and voice. Its signal processing excels at that. I tried running the TV audio through my Denon AVR-S750H and the Elacs but I easily prefer the soundbar for basic TV watching. Its much cleaner, more spacious sound. If I stream music through the TV and AVR, then the Elacs are much better. I had intentions of setting aside the soundbar and using the AVR with Elacs for both TV and music, but I decided for now to leave the soundbar connected to the TV, and use the AVR for music streaming. I bought a HDMI switch so I can switch back and forth easily between TV/soundbar and TV/AVR/Elacs, or use the AVR/Elacs discretely for music. It seems to be the best solution for me at the moment. I am curious what a good 3.1soundbar sounds like in comparison. All in all, I dont regret the Elac purchase. For their size, they sound very nice.

> 3 dayFinally they are here!!!! Yes! I feel like I got into audio in the right nick of time! I got to play with the original B6 and the Uni-Fi B5’s and towers!!! I wish I still had my Emotiva TA-100 to play with these new bad boys!!! The bass from the Uni-Fi’s are here and it is a bit more brighter but it’s more than welcomed! I love Elac speakers!!! Buy them!

Greater than one weekI bought these as rear surrounds for a 5.1 home theater. For the money, they have incredible sound. You will need a good amplifier to make the most use of them, but its worth it. They are fantastic for streaming digital music too.

> 3 dayAmazing speakers, I use them as rears so I dont get their full potential but they sound awesome. Would make good speakers for a 2.1 system or even as front surrounds.

> 3 dayThey just keep getting better daily, give them time and be patient. They are in their break in location, so not separated in distance, but from a distance in their location the sound flows throughout the room. I put new tubes in the preamp at the same time, so they both have warmed up and grown together for amazing sound quality. I also purchased their Dual 4” center speaker (CS41) in pairs for front and rear’s in a surround system. Very nice and on sale now for $51.59 each, a steal at this price point.

> 3 dayI switch these out with my Paradigm Monitors 5s... These are fantastic and I tend to prefer them over much the higher priced Paradigms.
