Greater than one weekAwesome Speaker! I decided to upgrade my setup from a soundbar and a great decision it was. Paired with a Marantz receiver with only 50 w/channel, I can already notice a significant difference in quality of the audio. Great choice! And it was only $206 at purchase direct from Amazon! Still breaking in, but cant wait until it is. I am running only a 2.0 home theater system so these are the system as of now. Definitely has a particular sound profile as some are saying warm for ELACs, but bass is good enough in a small living room area that am still debating a separate sub (neighbors). Build quality is really solid and packaging by Amazon was reassuring. Came to me without so much as a particle of dust. Would highly recommend for smaller spaces, apartments, or starter speakers.

> 3 dayI want to preface this by noting that I paid <$250 for my pair. Currently, they are listing for $300+ and you have TONS of options in that price range. Overall, I love these little beauties. I currently live in a small apartment and needed something appropriate for the space. These fit the bill. Not sure Id call em bright, but I do have the bass on my chi-fi amp turned up a smidge to warm them up. There can be a clinical aspect to the sound sometimes, I wont deny that. But at the price I paid, and given the rock-solid build quality, these are great. I may replace them with some wharfedales at some point, partially just to try something else, maybe see if I cant warm things up. Cant stress the source enough; playing mp3s through the bluetooth is fine but cranking some Floyd via CD really wakes up these pups. They are rockers and would pair well with a sub, Id think. I should stress that these are currently driven with a cheap class D Fosi amp. Id love to hear them through a quality class a/b amp, I just dont have the space.

> 3 dayPurchased these and also the KEF Q100s at the same time. Simply put, the KEFs sounded better. Granted the KEFs were a much more expensive speaker, but at the time of this review, the KEFs are available on closeout for $249. Outside of the Q100s, these are probably best in the under $250 class. On their own, these sound good. Mellow sound and non-fatiguing. Some will say they lack detail, but its just not as forward as others. I found the soundstage a bit lacking. Build quality is very good, quite hefty for their size/price. Fit and finish could be better. Grills dont fit perfectly. Odd rattle on a loose terminal cup. But Im sure these issues will improve over their production life cycle. These are easily worth their price. Just dont go believing the hype that they sound as good as $1000 speakers...

> 3 dayI can hear everything under the sun in a song when paired with a cheap DAC and the highest Tidal quality songs. It’s like walking into a dream. Voices are razor sharp and clear, down to mic breaths. I might order the center speaker. Pairs great with a 100w total amp

Greater than one weekExceptional speakers. Got these to put in my workshop. I cant believe how big and clear these speakers sound. I didnt believe what people were talking about when they mentioned a break in period, but its true. After running these for hours a day over the last week, they have really opened up and for speakers this size, they really sing. They are quite balanced throughout the sonic spectrum. The treble and midrange are great. The bass has opened up and if pushed correctly would probably put out enough bass to satisfy most listeners. Im not a bass junkie but did add a sub to round out the sound in lower listening levels. I know that there are better speakers out there. But I think it would be a challenge to find speakers that sound this good in this price range.

> 3 dayGreat sound quality. After moving into a smaller home, I sold my huge Klipsh speakers and replaced them with these small ones. Sound is better than ever even at lowest volume. I couldn’t be happier.
