Encore Print Shop Professional 4.0

I have used this software for a long time, of course different versions, but the Professional version is the best, it is so quick, versatile and provides online additional fonts, templates, designs etc. love it. Now keep in mind I am currently using windows 8.1.

Very disappointed. I used the The Print Shop Pro Publisher 23.1 for many years and made many projects and newsletters. Since I upgraded computers to Windows 10 I could no longer save my projects in PDF. Therefore I decided to upgrade to The Print Shop Professional 4.0 because they advertise it it as being able to open projects and files from 23.1. This is not entirely true as 4.0 is not able to properly open 23.1 files. The ones that it does try to open become distorted with things re arranged on the pages and the photos are mostly missing. Also you cannot print address labels from the address book. The stretch text feature is missing. etc etc. I am returning and hopefully I can get a refund. I was a sucker once and there wont be a twice. Do not buy this program if you believe it is an upgrade or is compatible with the 23.1 version. this is a major, major downgrade. Sickening.

If it worked with Windows 10 it probably would have been simple to use. There was not an immediate chat, email or phone number to get help. You had to submit a work ticket and someone would get in touch with you about your problem.

Compared to the previous edition of Print Shop (23) which I used frequently, this has proven to be of no use to me at all.

Brøderbund has made this program for years. Changes the skin now and then but it’s the same awesome, easy to use print project software for making signs That I’ve loved forever. Simple and easy to use.

There are so many things wrong with this version of Printshop that they shouldnt be selling it. One problem that gives an error and shuts it down demands (after looking it up on the Web site) that you go to AppDataLocal (etc) and delete the file that has just been created there.

Everything arrived promptly....this has a low rating for software...as it has for the previous editions but Ive have used print shop for years. I wouldnt use it if my husband hadnt been a programmer, a system analysis, a dba, software developer...etc.

I dont like to give negative reviews but I have never tried to use such a bad piece of software. I promised my golf league a calendar but I cannot get the software to cooperate. I have paid my computer tech guy close to $400 to help me get this working. We put 12 gigabytes more RAM memory in my computer. It still doesnt work right--tons of lag when dragging a graphic, photo, anything. I have done calendars in the past and loved doing them. Do not buy this product. Badly written program. I wish I could get a refund.
